Nine Inch Nails, Twice, Cardi B All Announce Concerts at Hamilton’s Soon-To-Open TD Coliseum
The newest arena in Canada doesn't open until next month, but has just announced some big shows from artists including MGK, Jonas Borthers and more.

Canada's newest arena venue, The TD Coliseum in downtown Hamilton, is scheduled to open in less than 50 days, and it has been announcing upcoming shows at a rapid rate. The arena, in the space formerly occupied by Copps Coliseum and FirstOntario Place, and it has been undergoing major and costly (in the $300 million range) renovations, as reported here earlier. Venue giant Oak View Group is now in charge of the facility.
Paul McCartney will officially open the venue on Nov. 21 and fellow superstars Andrea Bocelli (Dec. 9) and Brad Paisley (Dec. 12) also have previously announced Coliseum shows booked, as have Trans-Siberian Orchestra (2 shows on Dec. 28) and Live with Big Wreck (March 5).
In just the last 10 days, five more big names have been added: Nine Inch Nails, TWICE, MGK (formerly Machine Gun Kelly, in on Dec. 8), Cardi B (March 31, 2026) and the Jonas Brothers (Dec. 14, 2025).
Veteran industrial rocker pioneers Nine Inch Nails have included Hamilton in the 20 North American stops on their expanded Peel It Back tour, one that began in June with shows in Europe and the U.K. and returns with a Feb. 5 show in New Orleans. The Feb. 18 concert will mark the first visit by NIN to Hamilton since 2008. A Toronto concert took place last year, but the fact that there is no date there this time ensures that the band's T.O. fans will head down the 403 for this one. A Montreal Bell Centre date is set for Feb. 16. Tickets for the second leg of the Live Nation-produced tour will go on sale beginning on Oct. 8 at 12 p.m. local time here
Earlier this week (on Sept. 30), K-pop girl group TWICE announced the dates for their This Is For 2026 world tour, with plans to hit North America, Europe and the U.K. The 26-date 2026 North American tour will find members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu performing in-the-round on a 360-degree stage for the first time on arena dates slated to kick off on Jan. 9 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. The trek will include stops in Montreal (Bell Centre, March 3) and Hamilton (TD Coliseum, March 6) before winding down on April 17 in Austin. General tickets on-sale begin on Oct. 9 at 3 p.m. local time here. K-pop has proven a big seller in Hamilton, and the city has scooped Toronto by scoring a TWICE show.
Other events previously announced for TD Coliseum also encompass sports (Toronto Rock, The Harlem Globetrotters) and comedy (Matt Rife). The 2026 Juno Awards have selected TD Coliseum for the gala awards show, set for March 29.
