Ria Mae is shining on the Airplay charts.

The singer-songwriter’s track “The Ring (Damn!)” arrives on the Billboard Canada Hot AC Airplay chart at No. 39, dated Nov. 15.

“The Ring (Damn!)” is an upbeat, pop hit that sees Mae grappling with relationship anxiety through the verses, but emerging with a sense of confidence on the chorus.

“Mama taught me to be good / Invited the whole neighbourhood / So damn / I wish you would / Let me in / let me in the ring now,” she boldly sings.

Although she has been releasing music for over a decade, the Halifax native released her second-ever album this month, titled Two. The tracklist is comprised of moments from Mae’s 2025 EP, Tiny Strands, and recent singles, including “The Ring (Damn!).” Prior to the track’s release, Mae teased it on social media, posting demos and snippets.

“These songs were written over the (long Nova Scotian) winter in a little writing studio behind my house,” she wrote of the 10-track project on

Instagram. “A few songs came from painful memories that resurfaced with therapy. The rest were attempts at being more honest about where I am and how I'm feeling.”

Over on Canada AC, two of the biggest Québec artists are teaming up.

“Toujours les vacances,” a collaborative track between Les Trois Accords & Cœur de pirate, debuts at No. 29.

The track has a sonically lighthearted feel, thanks to the signature piano prowess of this year’s Billboard Canada Women in Music Trailblazer Award recipient and the ultra-cool electric guitar soundscape courtesy of Les Trois Accords. It’s a charming indie-pop song that effortlessly blends the voices of the two Québecois artists.

"Always the holidays/With you it's / Always the holidays / When we're together / It's the holidays / When we're together / When we're together," sing Béatrice Martin and frontman Simon Proulx in unison through the song’s catchy refrain.

"Toujours les vacances" served as the lead single from Les Trois Accords’s eighth studio album, released in late October. It follows Cœur de pirate’s comeback album, Cavale, which dropped in September — the album’s title track — debuted at No. 26 on AC this past summer.

They’re joined by fellow francophone artist, Gabriel Fredette, who arrives at No. 30 with “Tant Qu'On Est Toi Et Moi.”

Canadian country artists are hitting a stride on this week’s Billboard Canada Airplay charts.

Tim Hicks debuts at No. 40 on All-Format with “Going Somewhere,” while “Lay It On Me” — a collaboration between Frank Walker, Josh Ross & Norma Jean Martine — enters CHR/Top 40 at No. 33. On Country, Brock Phillips hits No. 37 with “Something Else,” and Chris Buck Band’s “One Two Step” debuts at No. 52 while Josh Stumpf’s “Nobody Roads,” six spots down at No. 58.

At the top, Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” has dethroned Alex Warren’s chart hit “Ordinary” on All-Format and AC. Warren maintains No. 1 on Hot AC, but Swift’s track rises 3-2 this week, potentially serving as a threat. Over on CHR/Top 40, Justin Bieber’s “Daisies” tops the chart for the eighth week.

Morgan Wallen’s “I Got Better” maintains his top position on Country for the third week, while Aerosmith and YUNGBLUD rise 2-1 with “My Only Angel” on Mainstream Rock.

While Vancouver duo Fionn's hit Blow spent three weeks at the top on Modern Rock, this week, American rock band The Black Keys climbs 2-1, with “No Flowers, No Rain.”

The singer-actress is the cover star of Billboard Brasil's 21st edition.

In 2011, a teenager from Gunpo, a city 30 km from Seoul, crossed the South Korean capital to audition at YG Entertainment. The 16-year-old faced a line of hundreds of candidates, performed for the judges, and left the building without knowing the result of the audition that would change her life forever. Shortly after, Jisoo joined the agency’s exclusive trainee program. She went through countless hours of rehearsals and music, singing and dance classes over five years before debuting in BLACKPINK alongside three other girls — and the rest is history with a capital H. The group was one of the driving forces behind K-pop’s surge in global popularity over the following decade.
