Diljit Dosanjh is ready to launch his next global era.

The Punjabi superstar announced his upcoming Aura Tour 2025 and new album on Instagram with a monochrome jet photo and the caption, “It’s time, AURA, Album & Tour.”'

The reveal follows the record-breaking success of Dosanjh’s 2024 Dil-Luminati World Tour, which made history in North America by selling out arenas and drawing massive crowds across Canada and the U.S.— a milestone highlighted in Billboard Canada's December 2024 cover story.

Fans are now speculating if Aura Tour 2025 will return to these markets for another groundbreaking run.

Earlier this year, Dosanjh was a featured speaker at the Billboard Summit at NXNE in Toronto’s TIFF Lightbox. In a rare on-stage conversation with Recording Academy President Panos A. Panay, Dosanjh discussed the global rise of Punjabi music, the importance of authenticity, and the challenges of navigating an international career. The session included a lighthearted moment when Dosanjh spoke about his viral Met Gala car ride with Shakira, joking about her invitation to perform an Indian version of “Hips Don’t Lie.”

Dosanjh’s impact goes far beyond music and style. During the Billboard Summit, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) announced a new university-level course set to launch in 2026 dedicated to studying Dosanjh’s career, the Punjabi music diaspora, and South Asian representation in global entertainment.

In May this year, Dosanjh also made a historic debut at the Met Gala, becoming the first turbaned Sikh artist to walk the red carpet.

Although dates and venues for Aura Tour 2025 have yet to be announced, the project could even surpass the scale of its predecessor. With Punjabi music continuing to dominate global charts, anticipation for Aura — both the album and the tour — is at an all-time high.
