The sibling trio have been announced as Friday night headliners at this year’s Boots and Hearts Music Festival, running from Aug 7–9 at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, Ontario.

Set to make their country music festival debut, the JoBros will bring their high-energy hits to the festival grounds. In addition, it marks a major moment for Boots and Hearts as organizers celebrate its 15th anniversary.

Throughout their career, the trio have scored multiple No. 1 albums on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart: 2008’s A Little Bit Longer, 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times and 2019’s Happiness Begins. On the Canadian Hot 100, the latter album’s opening track, “Sucker,” scored the group’s first No. 1 on the chart.

The New Jersey brothers have amassed decades of catchy hits and a stadium-selling fanbase, playing to a sold-out crowd at Toronto’s Rogers Centre last August. Known for cross-genre collaborations, including with country artists, and a live show packed with nostalgic moments, Jonas Brothers’ addition to the festival’s lineup reflects the genre’s evolving landscape.

In 2025, the trio collaborated with Russell Dickerson on a country-rock version of the latter’s Billboard Canada Country Airplay chart hit “Happen To Me.” Earlier in the year, the brothers worked with fellow headliners, Rascal Flatts, on “I Dare You,” while middle brother Joe duetted with singer Ashley Cooke on “All I Forgot” — all of which has further connected the group with today’s country music scene.

Both Dickerson and Cooke are set to play this year’s festival, so there’s a chance fans may hear the collaborative songs in real life.

“The Jonas Brothers have embraced cross-genre collaboration in the country space, while artists like The Chicks and Rascal Flatts helped open the door for the genre’s mainstream and crossover success,” shares Brooke Dunford, director of talent buying & business development for Republic Live, producers of the country music festival.

“Bringing them together reflects how fans are consuming music today and we're proud to follow that creative momentum at Boots and Hearts."

The group joins a stacked trio of headliners, including influential Grammy-winning icons The Chicks on Saturday night (Aug. 8), followed by long-standing country hitmakers Rascal Flatts on Sunday (Aug. 9).

Joining the top-billed artists is a lineup of acclaimed country acts, including Tucker Wetmore, Jessie Murph, Sam Barber, Dasha, Max McNown, Waylon Wyatt, The Jack Wharff Band, Kaitlin Butts and Emily Anne Roberts.

Staying true to its roots, this year’s edition of Boots and Hearts will also spotlight Canadian talent, including Brett Kissel, James Barker Band and Carolyn Dawn Johnson, plus emerging acts Thelma & James — comprised of married couple Jake Etheridge and MacKenzie Porter — Savannah Jade, Tony Stevens, Mitch Zorn and School House.

The opening night of Boots and Hearts will feature the Emerging Artist Showcase, an established platform for launching homegrown country artists like Country Airplay chart-topper Josh Ross and Owen Riegling.

This year the festival will expand with Boots and Hearts West, where Dickerson will headline alongside “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” star Shaboozey making their way to Edmonton for the two-day festival on Aug. 28 and 29. McNown and Thelma & James will head out west, too.
