The lead singles from the Heated Rivalry soundtrack skate onto the Billboard charts dated Jan. 24 following their release on Jan. 9.

The two tracks, “It’s You” and “Rivalry,” debut on Billboard’s all-genre Digital Song Sales and Dance Digital Song Sales charts, respectively.

Performed, written and produced by Peter Peter, the cuts mark the Billboard chart debut for the musician. The two tracks ushered in his full 34-track score soundtrack to the Crave Original Series’ first season, which dropped Jan. 16 via Milan Records via streamers and digital download services.

All charts dated Jan. 24 will post to Billboard’s website on Jan. 21.

The driving electronic-dance track “Rivalry,” which opens the soundtrack album, bows at No. 3 on Dance Digital Song Sales. It’s one step below Harrison’s cover of t.A.T.u.’s 2003 top 20 Billboard Hot 100 classic “All the Things She Said,” which holds at No. 2 in its fifth week on the chart. The latter was featured prominently in the fourth episode of the series’ first season (though is not on the Heated Rivalry soundtrack).

Meanwhile, Peter Peter’s “It’s You,” which is featured in a key scene in the second episode, starts at No. 19 on Digital Song Sales. It’s the only track on the soundtrack album to include vocals.

The Digital Song Sales and Dance Digital Song Sales rank, respectively, the week’s top-selling overall songs and dance songs sold via digital retailers (such as the iTunes Music Store) in the United States, according to Luminate. “It’s You” sold nearly 1,500 downloads in the U.S. in the week ending Jan. 15, while “Rivalry” sold about 1,000 downloads.

While the above charts are based purely on sales data, the two tracks also fired up fans on streaming services. “Rivalry” collected 433,000 on-demand official streams in the U.S. in the week ending Jan. 15, while “It’s You” garnered 711,000 streams.

Heated Rivalry, the series, premiered on the Canadian streamer Crave on Nov. 28 and arrived the same day in the U.S. on HBO Max. The romantic drama stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams as hockey rivals Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander who navigate a secret romance. The show was created by Jacob Tierney and adapted from Rachel Reid’s hit Game Changers book series.
