M for Montreal Unveils Full 2024 MARATHON Festival Lineup

The conference and festival is adding rising artists like indie pop singer Laraw and hip-hop artist Malko to the three-day MARATHON programming.

M for Montreal has announced the full 2024 lineup for its discovery festival, MARATHON.


M for Montreal's MARATHON Festival (presented by SiriusXM) will take over the city from November 20 to 23. Programming 90 rising artists across major venues like Club Soda, MTELUS and Fairmount Theatre, the festival promises a cornucopia of names you should know. In addition to the Billboard Canada-presented Official Selection artists like Lubalin, Claudia Bouvette and Jane Penny, M for Montreal MARATHON is also adding rising indie pop singers Laraw and Chiara Savasta, hip-hop artist Malko, and psych rockers Cure-Pipe.

Other key MARATHON shows include Francouvertes winner Soleil Launière at Foufounes Electriques, with electronic pop singer Kroy (of Milk & Bone), and singer-songwriter Wyatt C. Lewis at Escogriffe.The conference and festival, which plays a big role in exporting Quebec artists to the global stage, will also be bringing a range of international acts to Montreal, including Spain's Marta Knight, France's Cléa Vincent, and Manon Meurt from the Czech Republic.

They join previously-announced MARATHON artists including Bibi Club, Karkwa, Peter Peter and myst milano.

Billboard Canada is the presenting partner for M for Montreal, starting with this year's conference and festival. Through the Official Selection program, the festival presents emerging acts to select industry delegates, while the MARATHON festival puts on public-facing shows that keep the buzz going. There are also panels and networking events designed to strengthen ties between Quebec and other global music industries.
