Shawn Mendes, Daniel Caesar and More to Join Mustafa in Artists For Aid Benefit Concert for Sudan and Palestine

Mustafa has announced a third edition of his Artists for Aid concert in suport of Sudan and Palestine.

Following two sold-out events in New Jersey (January) and London (July) last year, the award-winning songwriter and poet is bringing the Sudan and Palestine aid benefit show to Los Angeles on January 10, 2026.

The concert will equally raise funds Sudanese American Physicians Association and the Palestine children’s relief fund.

Of the artists performing, many are joining Mustafa for their second or third appearance, including Canadian R&B singer Daniel Caesar, indie-pop artist Clairo, U.K. singer-songwriter Blood Orange and rapper Earl Sweatshirt.

Some of the new additions to the lineup are indie singer Lucy Dacus, U.S. rapper Noname, emerging R&B star Ravyn Lenae, Canadian pop star Shawn Mendes and more. The event will be hosted by model Bella Hadid and actor Pedro Pascal.

“A gratitude unfeigned for all these artists who have agreed to donate their time & voices to this, the journey here has not been a simple one,” Mustafa wrote on social media, while announcing the event.

Shawn Mendes is a notable addition. In August, Mendes shared that he regretted not speaking out about Palestine earlier while on tour in Portugal. “What’s been happening in Gaza is absolutely breaking my heart,” he told the crowd. “The future is truly in our hands, and I feel like it’s our responsibility to stop these cycles and to choose love.”

In his cover story for Billboard and Billboard Canada, meanwhile, Caesar spoke about the role Mustafa and the Artists for Aid concert last year played in his new album, helping him connect to "something bigger than himself" and embrace a cause that he once felt too nervous to talk about. “Free Palestine,” he now says proudly.

The benefit show announcement comes after the artist and activist won the first-ever SOCAN Polaris Song Prize for "Gaza Is Calling""Gaza Is Calling" in September. It’s a track dedicated to a childhood friend from Palestine and featuring current footage from a West Bank refugee camp.

That same month, the singer took the stage with pop star Dua Lipa to perform a rendition of his song “Name of God.” Last year, the singer received the 2024 Prism Prize, awarded to the team behind the best Canadian music video of the year, for the track’s video. He is the first artist to win the award twice, following his 2022 win for "Ali."
