The Toronto band brought high energy to it at the major festival, with the Australian musician joining them for the new single "Last Girls at the Party."

The Beaches threw a party with G Flip at their Coachella debut.

The Toronto quartet brought out the rising Australian star for a performance of their new single, "Last Girls At The Party." G Flip helped write and produce the track, and brought some high energy to the live version at Coachella on Sunday (April 13) in the Gobi tent.

The single — which also debuts on this week's Billboard Canada Modern Rock airplay chart at No. 35 — is a celebration of rowdy late nights. It looks like the band is having a great time performing it, especially with G Flip, who sang the second verse, including the cheeky queer come-on: "if you don't think straight / it's your lucky day, I'm open late."

G Flip also came back out for the band's performance of their breakthrough single, "Blame Brett," which took them to the international stage when it went viral in 2023. The group posted a clip of how that onstage performance looked from G Flip's perspective on TikTok:

The Beaches were also joined for that moment by popular Canadian comedian Veronika Slowikowska, who joined them for a video commemorating it all.

The Beaches are one of only two official Canadian acts at this year's edition of the California festival. The other is Montreal indie pop group TOPS, who also made their festival debut. Toronto DJ and producer Bambii also played Do LaB's "immersive experience" stage within the festival, and criticized the experience for malfunctioning equipment and low pay. Last year, AP Dhillon and Grimes both took official Coachella stages in Indio, CA.

The Beaches' new album No Hard Feelings is out August 29, and the band are hosting a series of DJ sets celebrating the new music, which are invite-only to fans who pre-save the album. They also have more summer dates on the horizon, including another big festival performance at Montreal's Osheaga. The Beaches will also be back for Coachella's second weekend, playing on Sunday (April 20).
