Sommo Festival 2026 has locked in some major headliners for this summer in Prince Edward Island.

Headlining on Friday, Sept. 11 will be Grammy-winning American band Twenty One Pilots while Grammy-nominated rising young star sombr takes that slot on Saturday Sept. 12.

Producers Whitecap Entertainment announced the full main stage lineup for the Cavendish, PEI festival, which is a very eclectic list of performers.

That includes multi-platinum artist Natasha Bedingfield, Icelandic blues rock band KALEO, rising indie-folk artist Hazlett and chart-topping pop-soul sibling duo Lawrence. Canadian artists includes Billboard Canada-tipped singer-songwriter Baby Nova, indie singer-songwriter Leith Ross, Juno-nominated roots artists Kellie Loder and Wild Rivers, pop sensation Sofia Camara and ECMA Breakthrough Artist of the Year Loviet.

Produced by the team behind the popular Cavendish Beach Music Festival, Sommo Festival has previously featured such international stars as Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers, Noah Kahan and Greta Van Fleet.

Last year's edition was headlined by Hozier and Alanis Morissette and drew an estimated 35,000 festivalgoers. Alex Warren controversially withdrew from the event on short notice, citing miscommunication and the need to take time off from his busy touring scheudle.

More artist and chef announcements for Sommo are still to come. Tickets are available at sommofest.com
