The Jonas Brothers transformed Toronto's Massey Hall into a seasonal spectacle this weekend.

On Saturday, February 15 the trio played a surprise concert at the historic venue. The concert was announced the day before as a celebration of the band's 20th anniversary. Not mentioned was that it would double as a film shoot for the band's upcoming Christmas movie.

The Jo Bros have been in Toronto filming the project — and making stop-ins at local trivia nights on nights off — with filming wrapping up this past weekend. Apparently, they needed one last great shot: thousands of fans at a Christmas concert.

The $20 concert began normally, with the band taking requests from the crowd and performing songs from across their discography, like early singles "Year 3000" and "Burnin' Up." Nick performed his solo hit "Jealous" and Joe performed his DNCE smash "Cake By The Ocean" and the band broke out a cover of The Cranberries' "Dreams."

As the concert neared its end, the crowd was told that they were actually going to be part of the film shoot. Producers handed out seasonally-appropriate costumes and the vibe got very festive very fast, with red lighting and ornament-themed visuals.

The trio performed two songs for the shoot: their No. 1 hit "Sucker" and their 2019 Christmas original "Like It's Christmas." Fans who thought they were just there for a night to remember will now have that night recorded forever — some could call it a holiday miracle, even if it's a bit early.

After shooting finished, at least one Jonas Brother immediately boarded a plane, as Nick Jonas attended SNL50, the 50th anniversary celebration of Saturday Night Live, the next night, appearing in the showstopping John Mulaney-helmed New York musical sketch.

The Jonas Brothers will be busy this year, as they continue to celebrate their 20th anniversary as a band, with upcoming plans including a takeover of New Jersey's American Dream mall titled JONASCON. For anyone who can't attend, there's the Christmas movie to look forward to, slated for Disney+ later this year.

Nelly, Cypress Hill, Billy Talent, The Beaches Highlight Muskoka Venue The KEE To Bala's  2025 Lineup

A musically diverse group of major international and Canadian stars will take to the historic stage in Ontario cottage country this summer, including Billy Corgan, Shaggy, The Reklaws, Down With Webster and more.

A historic and popular music venue in the Muskoka cottage country region of Ontario for the past eight decades, The KEE To Bala was taken over by Live Nation in 2023, and the clout of the international concert behemoth has upped the ante.

That's evident in the bookings. Today (May 5), this season's lineup was announced, and it again features major international and Canadian artists as headliners. Heading the international names are R&B superstar Nelly, fast-rising young American country star Dylan Gossett, alt-rockers Billy Corgan and The Machines of God with Collective Soul, reggae hitmaker Shaggy, rock veterans The Wallflowers and hip-hop stars Cypress Hill & Ja Rule.
