The Beaches are back.

The third full-length release from the Toronto band — and Billboard Canada’s Women of the Year 2025No Hard Feelings, arrives at No. 24 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, dated September 13.

This marks the group’s second ranking on the chart — 2023’s Blame My Ex, which features the viral hit “Blame Brett,” peaked at No. 76.

Members Jordan and Kylie Miller, Eliza Enman-McDaniel and Leandra Earl kicked off this new era with the lead single “Last Girls at the Party.” It recently spent 11 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Canada Modern Rock Airplay chart, where The Beaches have thrived even before the viral success of "Blame Brett."

The Beaches haven’t been an overnight success, spending many years crafting a solid team — which includes Billboard Canada's Manager of the Year, Laurie Lee Boutet — and working hard to keep the momentum going.

In August, they returned to Osheaga for the third time, this time playing the mainstage before Olivia Rodrigo’s closing night set. This fall, they’re embarking on a North American tour, which includes their biggest hometown show at Scotiabank Arena on November 6 and an appearance as guests of honour at Billboard Canada Women in Music on October 1. Everything is coming full circle.

“You have to be ready for the moment when it comes,” Jordan Miller told Billboard Canada. “And we’re lucky that we were.”

Last week, Dua Lipa played two nights at Scotiabank Arena on her Radical Optimism tour. This week, the pop star’s sophomore album, Future Nostalgia, has re-entered the chart at No. 86.

Previously, the 2020 album spent 245 weeks on the chart, peaking at No. 2. Future Nostalgia boasts some of Lipa’s biggest hits, including “Don’t Start Now,” “Physical,” and “Levitating,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 after its release.

At the top of the chart, Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend enters at No. 1, knocking the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack to No. 2.

After debuting at No. 3 last week, Karan Aujla’s P-Pop Culture stays in the top 10 at No. 6, while The Weeknd’s perpetually charting greatest hits collection The Highlights moves down one spot to No. 4. Justin Bieber’s Swag rises 9-8 — it previously peaked at No. 1 after its release. It’s likely that Bieber’s recently released sequel, Swag II, will hit the charts next week.
