Today Iain Taylor, Cadence Music Group President and CEO, is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Noelle Bush to the position of Director, Artist & Label Services, effective immediately.


Her resume makes her the ideal candidate with a brilliant track record in music licensing, artist development, artist management, record label management, contract negotiations, sync licensing, and television production.

In making the announcement, Taylor remarked, “We are delighted to have someone with the experience and talent that Linda possesses joining our team.  I know our label partners and artists will be thrilled to work with her.” Bush will be responsible for overseeing the distribution and servicing of both the Fontana North and Cadence rosters.

Bush commented, “I’m thrilled to join Iain and the team at Cadence and Fontana North, and I'm looking forward to helping them take it to the next level!"

Her background spans more than 20 years of industry experience, starting with the Attic Music Group. This led to her a position as Creative Manager at Universal Music Publishing where she discovered and supported the talents of Sam Roberts and k-os. She then launched New Romantic, a talent development, management company and label with a roster including controller.controller, The Organ, Hidden Cameras, Lioness, and The Holiday Crowd.

She has also worked as a Music Supervisor and as a licensing agent representing major labels, publishing and television companies. Most recently, she worked as Music Manager at DHX Media where she oversaw all music publishing and master rights exploitation and distribution.

The Weeknd Pledges $2 Million to Provide 18 Million Loaves of Bread to Families in Gaza

The donation from Abel Tesfaye's XO Humanitarian Fund will be used to provide more than 1,500 metric tons of fortified wheat flour to Palestinians.

The Weeknd has pledged another $2 million from his XO Humanitarian Fund to the World Food Programme’s humanitarian response efforts in war-torn Gaza.

According to a statement released on Monday (April 29), the money from the artist who now goes by his real name, Abel Tesfaye, will be used to provide more than 1,500 metric tons of fortified wheat flour, which can be used to make more than 18 million loaves of bread to feed more than 157,000 Palestinians for a month.
