New & Upcoming Canadian Albums: Jessie Reyez Delivers 'Paid In Memories,' PUP & Dan Mangan Announce Release Dates

We're back with a new edition of our calendar of new Canadian albums.

Heading the list of Canadian artists releasing new work this week is multiplatinum R&B/pop star Jessie Reyez, with Paid In Memories, her third full-length. She has penned songs for the likes of Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, and Calvin Harris, and last year she was the winner of Billboard Canada’s Women in Music Trailblazer Award.


Critically-acclaimed art-rock auteur Destroyer (Dan Bejar) also returns with Dan's Boogie, while Quebec rock outfit Population II delivers Maintenant Jamais. Frigs frontperson Bria Salmena puts out her keenly-anticipated solo debut, Big Dog, Canadian supergroup Envy of None (featuring Alex Lifeson) present their second album, Stygian Wavz, fast-rising R&B artist Aqyila releases her debut album, Falling Into Place and artful Toronto singer-songwriter Barbara Lynch returns with where did you go.

A number of artists have also announcing dates upcoming album releases, including punk favourites PUP, with Who Will Look After The Dogs, adventurous rock singer-songwriters Dan Mangan, with Natural Light, and Alex Henry Foster, with A Nightfall Ritual, Foxwarren (featuring Andy Shauf), with 2, indie rock faves Born Ruffians, with Beauty's Pride and Juno nominee EKKSTACYwith forever.
