Punk is back on the charts this week.

Toronto band PUP have debuted their newest album Who Will Look After The Dogs? on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart this week, dated May 17. The album enters at No. 72 and marks their fourth consecutive album on the chart since their sophomore effort The Dream Is Over first landed at No. 48 in 2016.

Although they have previously reached higher peaks on chart, the band has some serious momentum. Following a stint playing arenas opening for Sum 41 on their farewell tour, they're now currently on tour in Europe, and will celebrate the record with a citywide summer tour in Toronto. The Mega-City Madness Tour is set to kick off in July, with dates at six venues in their hometown. They also played a special release party last week at Godspeed Brewery in Toronto, recreating Olive Garden with classic Italian-American food served directly by the band.

The album is fun and self-deprecating in ways we've come to expect from PUP, but also reflects the band's major life changes: members got married or had kids, one expanded his home studio, and singer Stefan Babcock ended a decade-long relationship.

Elsewhere on the chart, legendary British rock band Pink Floyd earns this week's top debut on the chart with Pink Floyd At Pompeii: MCMLXXII, which lands at No. 45. It is the first-ever soundtrack album for the band's 1972 concert film Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii, which was recently remastered in 4K and re-released in theatres. It is the only other debut on the May 17 chart.

Canadian artists continue to hold steady within the top 10, with The Weeknd's greatest hits album The Highlights at No. 1, Drake & PARTYNEXTDOOR's $ome $exy $ongs 4U at No. 3 and Tate McRae's So Close to What at No. 7. All three albums maintain their chart position from last week.

Drake Celebrates R&B with PARTYNEXTDOOR, Ms. Lauryn Hill & More at Wireless Festival Night 1

Night one of Drake's R&B-themed performance at Wireless Festival included melodies, deep cuts and legends.

With Iceman season fast approaching, Drake is primed and ready to kick off another album worthy of anticipation and hype, especially after the release of his new single “What Did I Miss?” But, on Friday night (July 11), fans at the U.K. Wireless Festival didn’t get the mischievous, revenge-plotting Drake looking to avenge his losses. Instead, they received a Drake who was keen on celebrating his R&B heroes, his OVO comrade PARTYNEXTDOOR, and day-one fans who have always appreciated the melodic side of Heartbreak Drake.

“This is the first time in my life that I’ve done three different shows on three different days,” Drake told the crowd during his performance. “You came to a very special night. It’s night one. It’s a celebration of all things R&B. All things melodies. All classics.”
