Toronto a cappella festival SING! is creating the first a cappella festival as part of the Fringe - essentially, a “festival within a festival”, in collaboration with theSpace.  Dubbed “SING! Edinburgh”, it will feature three Canadian and several UK groups during the fiesta’s run.

In its 7th season, SING! has presented hundreds of singers that have attracted tens of thousands of audience members in Toronto, as well as in four cities in Texas. A cappella has been a growing genre at the Fringe and worldwide, with literally billions of YouTube views for a cappella stars and dozens of a cappella festivals worldwide. theSpace alone will be presenting 14 a cappella groups this year.
