Charlotte Cardin Brings ‘Memories’ to the Billboard Canadian Hot 100
The Quebec-born singer's latest hit arrives at No. 69. Plus: Cameron Whitcomb reaches a new No. 2 peak with “Kingdom of Fear.”

Charlotte Cardin continues to be a Billboard Canada chart favourite, no matter which language she sings in.
The Quebec-born, Paris-based singer’s latest single, “Memories,” arrives at No. 69 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, dated Oct. 24.
It’s a dance-pop track backed by smooth horns and understated keys that feels reminiscent of Cardin’s “The Way We Touch,” her first English single in three years, which dropped earlier this year. “Memories” was released as part of the announcement for Cardin’s forthcoming album, Midnight, my love, slated for January.
Cardin explains that the track “is about the thoughts that are on loop for so long that they end up shifting. The more you think of something — especially when you're very implicated emotionally — the more your memories will shift, and your own emotions tint the memory.”

“Memories” is the latest entry for Cardin on the Canadian Hot 100, following “The Way We Touch” in March and “Tant pis pour elle,” which showcased Cardin’s Francophone pop sensibilities in September 2025.
She paid homage to her Francophone roots with a bilingual version, “Memories (Souvenirs),” at the same time. For the two different versions, she released different videos, saying that she “needed to say it in both languages.”
Cameron Whitcomb Reaches No. 2 Peak With “Kingdom of Fear”
In its 29th week on the chart, Cameron Whitcomb’s “Kingdom of Fear” climbs one spot to No. 2, a new peak for his song-of-the-summer hit. For multiple weeks, Whitcomb stalled at No. 3, while his former tourmate Stella Lefty sat at No. 2 with her viral hit “Boston.” This week, Lefty falls to No. 3, while Whitcomb takes over the No. 2 spot.
Now, "Kingdom" sits one spot behind Ella Langley’s country hit “Choosin’ Texas,” which spends a 23rd non-consecutive week at No. 1. That puts the song just two weeks away from tying Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" for the most weeks ever at No. 1 on the Canadian Hot 100.

Over the summer, Whitcomb told Billboard Canada that he was “coming for No. 1," at LASSO in Montreal, threatening to dethrone Langley. “I don't care if it's Ella Langley or Ella Langley, but I'm coming for you!”
ADÉLA’s “Nicole Kidman” Reaches the Top 5
Rising pop star ADÉLA has secured a new chart milestone in Canada. The singer’s hit “Nicole Kidman” climbs from No. 10 to No. 5 in its sixth week on the chart, hitting a new peak and earning her first ever top 5 hit. It's sitting one spot higher than its No. 6 placement on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
It’s one of the breakout hits from Slovak star following the release of her debut album, Prima. As it stands, the track is one of the hottest pop songs on TikTok, thanks to bold production and ADÉLA’s slick lyrical callbacks to the titular star.
Meanwhile, her other track "Ain't In LA" reaches a new peak, rising from No. 15 to No. 11 in its 12th week on the Canadian Hot 100.
Noah Kahan & Olivia Rodrigo Reclaim the Top 2 Spots on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart
While Drake extended his chart record last week with his 17th No. 1 album, Habibti, Noah Kahan has reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, climbing from No. 3 to No. 1 with The Great Divide. One spot down, Olivia Rodrigo’s you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love rises 4-2, just a couple of days ahead of the pop singer’s Canadian tour stops in Montreal and Toronto.
