Billboard Canada's 2025 Women of the Year are returning to Billboard Canada Women In Music to usher in this year's honourees.

Leandra Earl and Kylie Miller of The Beaches will host Billboard Canada Women In Music 2026, which takes place on Nov. 24 with a star-studded celebration at Rebel in Toronto. Tickets are available here.

The Beaches accepted the prestigious Women of the Year Award at last year's Billboard Canada Women In Music celebration. The band celebrated the major breakthrough that began in 2023 with "Blame Brett" and continued through their 2025 album No Hard Feelings and their graduation to an arena-level band. They have remained true to themselves and proudly worn their home country on their sleeve, all while continuing to build an impact that transcends beyond it.

In addition to being major honourees, they were undoubtedly the life of the party, celebrating with the other honourees and creating a viral moment as they shared their surprise while congratulations played from Elton John, Kid Cudi, Charlotte Cardin and more. Following the Women of the Year honour, they also became the first group to receive the Global Force Award at Billboard Women In Music in Los Angeles. They described the win, which recognizes their representation of Canada on the world stage, as a "dream come true."

They've seen no shortage of career-scaling moments both locally and internationally, including notching their first-ever U.S. gold record with "Blame Brett," an accolade for which they are "beyond humbled." In the past year, they've also made their NPR Tiny Desk Concert debut, headlined an arena show in their hometown for the first time at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena and completed a hat trick of wins in the group of the year category for the third straight year at the Juno Awards.

Their 2025 Coachella performance had a key role in an episode of the American hockey romance Off Campus, a synch placement that resulted in their 2023 track "Edge of the Earth" flying up the charts and cracking the top 10 of the Billboard Canada Contemporary Hit Radio/Top 40 Airplay chart. It became one of their biggest hits, another milestone for the group after more than a decade of continuous hard work.

Kylie and Leandra's charm has also breathed new life into their breakthrough hit "Blame Brett" as the guitarists lead a viral stage move that has become a viral staple during the band's live sets. From Rebecca Black and the Off Campus cast, to their own parents, the "Blame Brett hops" have become a fan-favourite moment and taken over stages of all sizes, from festivals like All Things Go to the arenas where The Beaches opened for Louis Tomlinson this spring.

Their charismatic chemistry will be on full display as hosts of Billboard Canada Women In Music 2026, as they welcome a star-studded lineup of honourees.

Cardi B will accept the Global Woman of the Year Award, along with Global Visionary Summer Walker, Global Hitmaker Bebe Rexha, Rising Star Chxrry, Executive of the Year Melissa Bubb-Clarke of Live Nation Canada and Impact Award winner Kristy Fletcher of MusiCounts/the Juno Awards.
