Bebe Rexha
Bebe Rexha has been crafting undeniable hits for nearly 14 years. At Billboard Canada Women in Music 2026, she will be honoured the Global Hitmaker Award. She will accept the award at the star-studded celebration at Rebel in Toronto on Nov. 24. Tickets are available here.
The Global Hitmaker Award recognizes Rexha's decade-spanning career and illustrious path from songwriter to one of the most versatile charting stars on the music landscape. From pop to electronic, country and R&B, she has showed an ability to craft songs that resonate with massive audiences.
Bebe Rexha has been a radio mainstay ever since the early 2010s when she earned a breakthrough for co-writing Eminem and Rihanna's chart-topping single "The Monster," which soared to No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and the Billboard Hot 100.
Her steam quickly picked up as she stepped into her role as a solo artist. She earned a feature credit for her anthemic chorus on "Hey Mama" with David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Afrojack, which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and No. 8 in the U.S. — her first top 10 hit in both countries. From there, her chart presence only multiplied.
Her G-Eazy collaboration "Me Myself & I" followed suit just months later, reaching No. 9 in Canada and No. 7 in the U.S., opening the gates for a handful of other charting hits across pop, dance, hip-hop, country and EDM. The massive country-pop crossover "Meant to Be" with Florida Georga Line. The massive hit took the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Top Hot Country Songs of the 21st Century.
More recently, she surged to the top of the Canadian charts after reuniting with David Guetta for "I'm Good (Blue)" in 2022, a remake of Eiffel 65's "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" and club-pop anthem that reached No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, and has collaborated with music legends like the late Dolly Parton and Snoop Dogg on her 2023 LP Bebe.
Now in 2026, the singer has taken greater creative control of her career, going independent and partnering with EMPIRE, a decision she describes as not just a business one, but a personal one, "embracing every part" of herself.
Her 2026 album Dirty Blonde, her first full-length album as an independent artist and her first visual album, is a full-fledged dive into the musical versatility that has defined her biggest hits and her entire career, encompassing hip-hop, pop, electronic music, country, Jersey club and more. Dirty Blonde hit No. 1 on Billboard's Top Dance Albums chart and reflects Bebe's newly heightened creative ambition, which includes making music videos for every song on the album and following her heart to make the music she wants to make, to the greatest extent she can.
