Two electronic music stars are meeting up for a candid conversation at the Billboard Summit.

In Conversation with deadmau5 & REZZ will take place June 11 at Toronto’s TIFF Lightbox as part of NXNE. This rare joint appearance promises to be an insightful look into the minds of two of the industry’s most innovative artists.


Known for their elaborate big-stage productions and boundary-pushing productions, deadmau5 and REZZ are both prominent figures in the electronic music scene. They’re also collaborators, with a handful of joint releases and festival appearances together under the joint name REZZMAU5.

Their team-ups are sporadic, but they create magic when they come together – both in the studio and on microphone.

The conversation at the Billboard Summit will delve into a variety of topics, including their creative processes, their favourite live experiences, their collaborative processes and the challenges and rewards of maintaining artistic integrity in a rapidly changing industry.

deadmau5 is known for his deadpan humour and always entertaining conversations. He has a special interplay with REZZ, an artist he knows and respects. This will be a unique look into the minds of two influential Canadian artists.

Billboard’s global initiative is coming to Toronto for the first time at NXNE this summer, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The conversation underscores the Summit’s commitment to go beyond industry panel conversations to centre artists talking about the music and experiences they are most passionate about.

After Drake revealed his father was battling cancer on Iceman‘s opening track “Make Them Cry,” Dennis Graham clarified to TMZ that it was in the past and he’s doing fine these days.

Paparazzi tracked Graham down early Friday (May 15) outside Jubilee in West Hollywood, where he was asked about his health. “No, that was a while back,” Graham said. “I’m OK now. I’m wonderful.”
