Sofia Camara is belting her way onto the radio this week.

“Girls Like You,” the recent single from the Toronto-based singer, debuts on the Billboard Canada CHR/Top 40 Airplay chart at No. 33, dated July 5. Produced by Mike Wise, Danny Bravo and Billboard Canada Non-Performing Songwriter Award winner Lowell, the track is an upbeat synth-pop moment where Camara sings about the emotional muscle memory of falling back into old patterns despite warnings and hard-learned lessons. Released in late May, the song follows up Camara’s newest EP, Was I(t) Worth It?, which arrived March 21 via Universal Music Canada.

Camara is no stranger to the airplay charts. Her second-ever single, “Never Be Yours,” peaked at No. 19 on the CHR/Top 40 chart and reached No. 22 and No. 34 on the Billboard Hot AC and Billboard AC charts, respectively. She shares the chart this week with fellow Portuguese artist Shawn Desman, her former tourmate, who rises 13-12, with “BODY.” featuring Jamie Fine.

It's a good week for Toronto artists on radio. Jessie Reyez’s track “NYB” which climbs 26-24, on the CHR/Top 40, while “Last Girls At the Party” from The Beaches rises 26-25 on the Mainstream Rock chart and remains No. 1 on Modern Rock. Just outside of the city, North Dumfries natives, The Reklaws, peak at No. 29 with “Never Drinking Again” on the Canada Country chart.

There's some interesting movement at the top of the airplay charts this week. Unsurprisingly, Alex Warren holds onto the top spot on the All-Format, Hot AC and CHR/Top 40 charts with "Ordinary.” However, on the AC chart, Myles Smith's "Stargazing" knocks Warren down to No. 3, as the British singer-songwriter claims the top spot.

As the release of Wet Leg’s new album, Moisturizer, arrives July 11, the English rock band peaks at No. 2 on the Modern Rock chart with “Catch These Fists.” The punchy song has been steadily rising since it entered the charts 11 weeks ago. It follows The Beaches’ aforementioned track, which holds the No. 1 spot for a third week.

Elsewhere on the charts, Tyler Hubbard’s “Park” moves up to No. 1, dethroning Morgan Wallen’s “Just In Case” on Country. “Even If It Kills Me,” from California band Papa Roach, holds strong in the top spot on Mainstream Rock.

William Shatner To Go Where He’s Never Gone Before on Heavy Metal Album Featuring Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden Covers

The 94-year-old TV icon teased that the untitled LP will feature 35 "metal virtuosos."

Forget about second acts in American life, TV legend William Shatner is up to his fourth, maybe 10th act at this point. The 94-year-old actor best known for playing the irascible James T. Kirk on the original Star Trek series and movies, as well as police sergeant T.J. Hooker in the 1980s is boldly going where even he hasn’t gone before.

In an Instagram post on Thursday (Feb. 19), the mutli-hyphenate performer who made his musical debut in 1968 with the beyond bizarre The Transformed Man LP featuring his florid readings of The Beatles’ “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” and Elton John’s “Rocket Man,” announced that he’s prepping his first heavy metal album at an age where metal typically goes into your body rather than comes out.
