Sarah McLachlan is heading back on the road.
Long one of Canadaâs most successful singer-songwriters, McLachlan was set last year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her multi-platinum third album, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, but she was forced to cancel that tour because of vocal health issues. Thankfully she has recovered from those, and today (April 17), Live Nation and McLachlan announced her Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary 2025 Canadian tour.
The 17-date trek begins in her home province of BC, with a show at Victoriaâs Save On Foods Memorial Centre on October 15 and traverses the nation before closing out on November 9 at Peterborough Memorial Centre. All shows also feature U.S. acoustic harmony trio Tiny Habits. Last summer, McLachlan was able to play sold-out shows at Toronto's Budweiser Stage and Montreal's Place Bell, but this tour will feature different venues in those cities.

âIâm really excited to bring the tour across Canada, it was so disappointing to have to cancel the 2024 tour due to my vocal health, and Iâm grateful that we were able to reschedule," says McLachlan. Iâm fully recovered and recharged and canât wait to share the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary tour with my home country, and maybe a few new songs as well. This tour is a real walk down memory lane as Fumbling is a very special record for me... Iâm hoping that the songs will bring back a lot of good memories for everybody.â
Fans can expect to hear the hit album in its entirety. Upon its release in Oct. 1993, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, quickly topped the charts in Canada and went certified platinum within a few weeks, selling over 3 million copies worldwide to date. Hit singles featured on the album include "Possession,â "Hold On," âIce Cream,â and "Good Enough,â among others.
