Nominations aux prix de la CCMA : Jade Eagleson et Mackenzie Porter en tête
Les deux auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes certifiés disque de platine ont remporté six nominations chacun pour les prix de la CCMA, suivis de près par The Reklaws et Josh Ross. La plus grande soirée country canadienne aura lieu le 14 septembre à Rogers Place à Edmonton.
Aujourd'hui (18 juillet), l'Association canadienne de la musique country (CCMA) a annoncé les nommés officiels pour les Prix CCMA 2024. En tête de liste des prétendants avec six nominations chacun se trouvent Jade Eagleson et MacKenzie Porter, ce dernier co-animant la cérémonie de remise des prix aux côtés de la vedette country américaine Thomas Rhett.
Sur leurs talons avec cinq nominations chacun se trouvent The Reklaws et Josh Ross, tandis que High Valley, Owen Riegling et Dallas Smith sont chacun cités dans quatre catégories. Parmi les autres artistes canadiens notables figurant sur la liste figurent Dean Brody, Steven Lee Olsen, James Barker Band, Brett Kissel, Tenille Townes et Lindsay Ell.
La remise des prix aura lieu à Edmonton, à Rogers Place, au cœur du centre-ville, le samedi 14 septembre à 20 h HE, et sera diffusée par CTV.
Les artistes déjà annoncés sont Dasha, Jade Eagleson, Brett Kissel, The Reklaws, MacKenzie Porter, Thomas Rhett et Dallas Smith, et d'autres seront nommés.
De retour à Edmonton pour la première fois en dix ans et marquant leur huitième présence dans la ville, la soirée des CCMA Awards 2024 est le point culminant de la Country Music Week 2024, qui débutera le 11 septembre.
Deux catégories majeures de prix CCMA sont ouvertes au vote du public par les fans de musique country de partout au Canada. Les nommés pour l'artiste ou le groupe révolutionnaire de l'année de cette année sont Hailey Benedict, Dax, Teigen Gayse, Matt Lang et Owen Riegling, et les fans peuvent voter pour leur favori sur ccmafanvote.com.
Les nommés pour le Fans' Choice 2024 sont Dean Brody, Jade Eagleson, High Valley, James Barker Band, Tyler Joe Miller, Steven Lee Olsen, MacKenzie Porter, The Reklaws, Josh Ross et Dallas Smith.
