The world's coldest music festival is back with a stacked lineup.
Igloofest is returning to Montreal's Quai Jacques-Cartier this winter to deliver four weekends of DJ sets and performances headlined by electronic and dance music stars, all taking place outdoors in the thick of the Canadian winter.
This year's festival kicks off on Jan. 14 with hometown hero Kaytranada, who will accept the Billboard Canada 40 Under 40 Visionary Award on Nov. 20. Fellow Canadian and Niagara Falls native deadmau5 will play a headline set on Jan. 30, after igniting crowds at FIFA Fan Festival, VELD and the Calgary Stampede throughout 2026. The festival wraps up on Feb. 6.

The 2027 lineup boasts a list of electronic music heavyweights and newcomers including house DJ-producer James Hype, dubstep star Subtronics, rising Australian DJ-producer Ninajirachi, house music favourite Kettama and big beat legend Fatboy Slim, many of whom have graced the Canadian stage in recent years.
\Chris Lorenzo, Mosimann, Fcukers and Boris Brejcha round out this year's headlining roster, while Toronto's biggest queer rave, Pep Rally, is also stopping by Montreal to offer a three-way B2B DJ set with Toronto-based selectors Chippy Nonstop, Nino Brown and Young Teesh on the Videotron Stage. Montreal's own Lia Plutonic will also support Fatboy Slim, bringing her warm blend of disco, house, electro and more. There are still surprises in store, with an unannounced headliner on Jan. 23 and a surprise artist joining Slim and Plutonic on Jan. 21.
Deadmau5 returns to Igloofest after playing the inaugural edition of Igloofest Edmonton, which took over Fan Park Ice District this past March with fellow headliners Alison Wonderland and Disclosure. It marked the first time the festival expanded outside of Quebec, adding a fourth location to its existing editions in Montreal, Quebec City and Gatineau. The Multicolore-produced festival has confirmed a return to all four cities next year, with Igloofest Gatineau running from Feb. 11 to 13, Igloofest Quebec from March 4 to 6 and the second-ever Igloofest Edmonton from March 11 to 13. The lineups for the three cities are yet to be revealed.

This year, Igloofest Montreal drew over 95,000 attendees with a lineup helmed by dance musicians A-Trak, DJ Snake, Sofi Tukker and Belgian rapper Hamza, with concertgoers braving through a record cold as the 2026 edition averaged a wind chill temperature of -21°C. The Montreal edition also hosts a number of additional sets as part of its daytime Igloofête series, and its Après-ski official afterparties.
An SMS and newsletter presale begins tomorrow, Oct. 22, followed by a general sale on Oct. 23, both at 11 am EST. Discover the full Igloofest 2027 lineup below and find more information on the festival's website.
