Over the weekend, Tate McRae performed her new single “Housewife” for the first time.

The Canadian pop star made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California, on Sunday (Oct. 18). Her performance was aptly timed with the release of “Housewife,” which dropped two days before.

She was the second performance of the night, following rising country star Megan Maroney. McRae took the stage in a glittery red lingerie set, surrounded by her posse of dancers before launching into the female empowerment pop anthem. The singer flexed her signature dance moves throughout the performance.

Her dancers fell to the side during the second verse, as McRae strutted down the catwalk. She headed to the top of the stage, sharing a sweet interaction — which she later called “twinkle fingers” on Instagram — with model Gigi Hadid. The pair walked down the catwalk together as McRae belted out the second chorus.

McRae continued to strut back and forth on the catwalk as the sounds of “Dear God” filled the arena. She ended her three-song set with “Sports car,” a fan favourite from her 2025 chart-topping album, So Close to What. During the song’s final chorus, she earned her own pair of Victoria’s Secret angel wings, red to match her outfit.

Following McRae’s performance, girl group KATSEYE took the stage to celebrate the reintroduction of the lingerie brand’s PINK label, while rap superstar Megan Thee Stallion emerged to close out the show.

Since the release of “Housewife,” McRae has reached major streaming milestones. The track debuted at No. 1 on the Global Spotify chart, reaching 5.67 million streams. It has become the singer’s biggest streaming debut yet, surpassing her hit “Tit for Tat,” which debuted with 4.13 million streams in 2025.

“Housewife” is McRae’s first single of the year, following So Close to What, which became her first-ever No. 1 album in Canada and the U.S.

Bon Jovi Add New 2027 Toronto Stadium Date to Global Forever Tour

Check out the new shows in Australia, London, the U.S. and Canada.

Bon Jovi are expanding their global Forever Tour. On Monday (Oct. 19), the Jon Bon Jovi-led Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group announced a string of seven additional dates for the outing, including their return to playing stadiums in the U.S., U.K., Canada and Australia.

After a nine-show residency at Madison Square Garden in New York in July and a trio of U.K. stadium shows in August and September, Bon Jovi said the tour has revitalized the veteran Jersey rockers following concerns that he might not be able to perform live again after undergoing vocal cord surgery in 2022.
