At this year’s Billboard Canada Women in Music celebration, creativity wasn’t just celebrated on stage — it was plated, served and shared at the table.

As a lead sponsor of the evening, Masrawy Kitchen brought the essence of Egyptian hospitality to life through a luxurious five-course dining experience that honoured the achievements of women shaping Canada’s music industry.

Each course was designed as a sensory journey through Egypt’s culinary legacy.

The presentation reflected the care and artistry behind every dish, transforming dinner into a cultural narrative about home, connection and creative spirit. It wasn’t just a meal, but a moment that mirrored the evening’s theme: celebrating women who bring passion and purpose into everything they create.

Founded in 2014, Masrawy Kitchen began as a small family-run restaurant with a simple mission — to share authentic Egyptian cuisine with Toronto.

Over the years, it has grown into a cornerstone of the city’s food culture, known for fresh, 100% Halal ingredients and recipes that honour Egypt’s rich culinary history. Together with its sister concept, Local by Masrawy, the brand continues to serve food rooted in tradition yet shaped by the diversity of modern Canada.

For founder Mohamed Saleh, hospitality is more than service — it’s an expression of soul.

“Our goal has always been to create experiences that feed the soul, whether through the food we make or the moments we share,” he said. “Being part of Billboard Canada Women in Music allowed us to celebrate the extraordinary women who nourish our culture through creativity, passion and purpose.”

Masrawy’s involvement in Billboard Canada Women in Music reflects its belief that food and music share a universal language. By supporting the event, the brand celebrated not only the achievements of women in music but also the cultural ties that bring communities together. It was a union of artistry and generosity, where Egyptian tradition met Canadian creativity under one roof.
