The lineup has arrived for Igloofest’s first-ever Edmonton festival.

From March 12-14 at Fan Park @ ICE District, the inaugural edition of the unique cold-season electronic music festival will unite international artists and Canadian talent to help the crowd get some friction going amidst frigid temperatures.

To bring the heat, Australian music producer and DJ Alison Wonderland, legendary U.K. electronic duo Disclosure and Canadian electronic titan Deadmau5 will take the festival's outdoor stage each night.

They’ll be joined by Chile-born DJ, producer-mixer Titus1, Québec trance and rave artist TDJ and hometown DJs HA HA, Kosmix and Mikey Wong across the three-day festival. A special to-be-announced guest is scheduled for the fest’s second day (March 13), before Disclosure’s DJ set.

Deadmau5 is set to close out the debut Edmonton edition, bringing his unmistakable sound and commanding stage presence to the Alberta crowd. Throughout his decade-spanning career, the electronic music icon has performed at numerous music festivals and gigs, most recently taking the stage at Coachella and VELD.

Earlier this year, festival organizers announced the outdoor dance music festival would debut in Western Canada for its 2026 edition. This is in addition to returning editions in Montréal, Québec City and Gatineau — the latter two of which were added last year.

This upcoming winter marks a major milestone for the unique winter festival, as it continues its expansion across Canada.

For more than 15 years, Igloofest has celebrated the coldest season. It started in Montreal, but has evolved into a national ritual. At its home-base next year, the festival’s 18th edition promises a bold and eclectic program from Jan. 15-Feb. 7. To set the stage, Belgian rap icon Hamza and U.K. electronic artist Elderbrook are the first names confirmed for the kickoff. A few days later, the festival will head to Gatineau from Feb. 12-14, followed by Quebec City from March 5-7 and Edmonton the following week.

Stephane Lecuyer Appointed Chief Operating Officer of The MRG Group and Managing Director of MRG Live

One of Canada's biggest independent music promoters has added to its leadership as it continues to expand.

Stephane Lecuyer is stepping into a new role as chief operating officer (COO) of The MRG Group and managing director of MRG Live.

One of Canada's biggest independent live music companies, the MRG Group and MRG Live have taken over operations for multiple Canadian events and venues in recent months. Back in August, the former acquired for Kelowna, B.C. Venue, Revelry, and the latter obtained a free, two-day Burlington, Ontario waterfront music festival, formerly known as Sound of Music Festival, in October. As both organizations’ portfolios continue to grow, Lecuyer is coming on in a dual leadership role.
