Karan Aujla surprised fans in a big way at Rolling Loud India.

The Punjabi-Canadian star debuted “Daytona (Remix)” with NAV during his headlining set on day two of the festival on Nov. 23 at Loud Park in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

NAV joined Aujla on stage as the audience erupted, marking the first live performance of their collaboration.

The song “Daytona” originally appears on Aujla’s new album P-Pop Culture( released Aug. 22 2025), which he describes as having “everything — love, flex, struggle, memories”.

The version with NAV is a remix of that track.

On the original version, “Daytona” reached No. 11 on Apple Music India and registered in the top 30 of the artist’s entries on Apple Music Canada.

Meanwhile, the album P-Pop Culture debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart, becoming one of the highest-debuting Punjabi-language albums in Canadian history.

Aujla’s set pulled heavily from P-Pop Culture. Alongside the remix reveal he performed fan favourites such as “MF Ghabru”, “Boyfriend” and “For A Reason,” all of which drew some of the loudest reactions of the night.

Rolling Loud India, which ran from Nov. 22-23, marked the hip-hop festival brand’s expansion into the country. Aujla used his set to introduce the remix ahead of any formal streaming release. The performance reinforced his ambition to bridge Punjabi music with international hip hop and underlined NAV’s interest in collaborating across cultural and regional lines.

Earlier in the day NAV brought out Gurinder Gill for a joint performance of his breakout hit “Brown Munde”, drawing huge audience response and extending the festival’s representation of Canadian Punjabi talent. Other Canadian acts on the lineup included AR Paisley, who performed on day one.

With “Daytona (Remix)” now officially released, its live debut has already helped build momentum across social media clips and early streaming traction. Listen to the full song below.

In This Season of Giving, Mariah Carey Shares Throwback Clip From 1994 Manifesting a Potential Christmas Classic One Day: ‘So Grateful’

MC only had to wait 25 years for her all-time holiday classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You" to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Mariah Carey is the undisputed Queen of Christmas. The pop singer has lorded over the holiday charts for the past six years with her ubiquitous wintertime classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” It seems hard to believe it now if you’ve been anywhere near a store since Halloween, but the yuletide favorite that was released in 1994 did not chart until 2000 and did not hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 until 2019, fully 25 years after it first hit our ears.

Now, as the holidays really ramp up, the best-selling Christmas song of all time in the U.S. seems like a no-brainer to top the charts every year. But on Tuesday (Dec. 9), MC gave thanks for how it all started in a throwback video she re-posted from a fan feed of an interview she did in 1994 in which she was asked if she hopes one of the songs from her first holiday album, that year’s Merry Christmas, might some day be as ubiquitous as such standards as “White Christmas” or “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”
