Sarah McLachlan Reschedules 'Fumbling Towards Ecstasy' 30th Anniversary Canadian Tour

Sarah McLachlan is heading back on the road.

Long one of Canada’s most successful singer-songwriters, McLachlan was set last year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her multi-platinum third album, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, but she was forced to cancel that tour because of vocal health issues. Thankfully she has recovered from those, and today (April 17), Live Nation and McLachlan announced her Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary 2025 Canadian tour.

The 17-date trek begins in her home province of B.C., with a show at Victoria’s Save On Foods Memorial Centre on October 15 and traverses the nation before closing out on November 9 at Peterborough Memorial Centre. All shows also feature U.S. acoustic harmony trio Tiny Habits. Last summer, McLachlan was able to play sold-out shows at Toronto's Budweiser Stage and Montreal's Place Bell, but this tour will feature different venues in those cities.

“I’m really excited to bring the tour across Canada, it was so disappointing to have to cancel the 2024 tour due to my vocal health, and I’m grateful that we were able to reschedule," says McLachlan. "I’m fully recovered and recharged and can’t wait to share the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary tour with my home country, and maybe a few new songs as well. This tour is a real walk down memory lane as Fumbling is a very special record for me... I’m hoping that the songs will bring back a lot of good memories for everybody.”

Fans can expect to hear the hit album in its entirety. Upon its release in 1993, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, charted in the top 5 in Canada and went certified platinum within a few weeks, selling over 3 million copies worldwide to date. Hit singles featured on the album include "Possession,” "Hold On," “Ice Cream,” and "Good Enough,” among others.

‘Michael’ Surpasses ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ As Highest-Grossing Biopic of All Time

The film has surpassed Bohemian Rhapsody's total gross with $358.6 million at the domestic box office and $553.3 million internationally.

Michael Jackson’s biopic, Michael, has dethroned Bohemian Rhapsody to become the highest-grossing music biopic of all time, crossing $911.9 million worldwide as the Jaafar Jackson-starring film continues its global rollout.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, the Lionsgate and Universal co-production has surpassed Bohemian Rhapsody‘s total gross with $358.6 million at the domestic box office and $553.3 million internationally — with Universal generating $540.5 million of the international total after acquiring foreign theatrical and ancillary rights. The film arrives in Japan today, a territory that could push Michael past $1 billion worldwide, which would make it only the second film to cross that threshold at the 2026 global box office after Universal’s Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
