Justin Bieber Performs Invite-Only Show in Los Angeles Ahead of Coachella Performance
Last night (March 29), the Canadian pop singer played a full set from his two Swag albums, including “Daisies” and “Yukon,” for fans and celebrity friends at The Roxy — marking his first full-length performance in nearly four years.

Justin Bieber is ramping up for his Coachella headlining performance.
Despite the pop-R&B singer being up for six awards at the Juno Awards this weekend, Bieber skipped the Canadian music awards. Instead, he took the stage in the intimate Los Angeles venue, The Roxy, performing a string of Swag songs in anticipation for his Coachella headline performance in April.
Up until yesterday morning, there were no public details about the performance. Fans quickly spotted that The Roxy’s marquee sign had been changed to: “Justin Bieber. Tonight Only,” giving passersby a clear hint at the performance taking place that evening.
For the intimate concert, the show was invite-only. A handful of Bieber fan accounts on X shared Google Forms for L.A. fans who were able to snag Coachella tickets. Then, a select group of fans were reportedly selected to buy $50 tickets for the show.
There were a handful of celebrity appearances too, including his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their son Jack, former collaborator SZA, country artist Shaboozey, The 1975 frontman Matty Healy and fellow Canadian pop singer Tate McRae. The Calgary-born pop star was also notably absent from the Junos Awards, where she won four awards, including many of the major categories.
According to attendees online, the show was supposed to be phone-free — although some footage from the concert has leaked on social media.
Bieber exclusively performed hits from his chart-topping album, Swag, released last July, and its successor, Swag II, which came two months later. He kicked off with Swag’s album opener “All I Can Take,” and alternated between songs from the two albums. “Speed Demon,” “Go Baby” and “Love Song” were just a sampling of the tracks Bieber performed.
He then launched into an acoustic set and performed six songs with a stripped-back vibe, including “Mother In You,” “Things You Do” and “Zuma House.”
The “Baby” singer closed out the 25-song set with some of the bigger songs from the Swag albums, playing fan favourite “Devotion,” and Billboard Canadian Hot 100 top 10 hits “Yukon” and “Daisies” in close succession. Taking a page from his stripped-down “Yukon” Grammys performance, the Biebs performed shirtless with no additional bells and whistles.
At the end of the show, fans reported that Bieber said: “See you soon.” Possibly a hint to a future tour, or his forthcoming headline set at Coachella, which runs between April 10-12 and April 17-19, 2026. As Bieber gears up for the California festival, it’s set to be a major weekend for the Canadian star, who is claimed to be the highest-paid act in Coachella history.
This marks Bieber’s first full performance in nearly four years. He previously took the stage in September 2022 in Brazil during the world tour in support of 2021’s Justice. Due to health struggles, Bieber cancelled the rest of his shows and has only done a handful of one-off performances, including an intimate, invite-only 2024 set attended by Billboard Canada at Toronto’s History for an NHL All-Star Party.
