Justin Bieber performed as part of major wedding celebrations in Mumbai, India this weekend.

Bieber flew across the globe to perform on Friday, July 5 for billionaire heir Anant Ambani and his fiancé Radhika Merchant. The Canadian singer broke out some of his biggest hits, including "Sorry," "Love Yourself" and "Peaches," sharing photos and clips on Instagram after.

Bieber, who cancelled his 2023 tour due to health issues, has only performed publicly once this year, at an invite-only NHL All Star party in February attended by Billboard Canada.

Times of India reports that Bieber was paid $10 million for the performance in India, indicating just how profitable private engagements can be for top-tier artists, supplementing or replacing touring for stars with enough cachet. Other major artists like Rihanna and Katy Perry have also performed for Ambani this year.

Commenters on Bieber's posts make jokes about whether they can afford the singer to perform at their birthday parties (as well as teasing him for showing off his boxers in the photos).

Ambani is the son of Mukesh Ambani of multinational conglomerate and petrochemical company Reliance Industries, who is the 11th wealthiest person in the world, according to Forbes.

With the wedding set for this coming weekend, July 12-14, rumours abound about who will perform at the nuptials, with names like Adele, Lana Del Rey, and fellow Canadian Drake all in play.

Aside from assisting in wedding festivities, Bieber is busy prepping for his own celebrations, as he and wife Hailey are expecting their first child.
