Billboard has rolled out the Top Billboard Hot 100 Producer of 2025 list — and for the second time, star Canadian producer and country music executive Joey Moi has been crowned No. 1.

The top spot was awarded to the Vancouver-born, Nasvhille-based producer, who helped lead a successful year for country singer Morgan Wallen.

Moi wraps up 2025 with 38 production credits on the Billboard Hot 100 during the chart eligibility period (Oct. 26, 2024 – Oct. 18, 2025), all attributed to Wallen. Nine of the tracks hit the top 10, while two climbed to No. 1 (“Love Somebody” and “What I Want” featuring Canadian pop star Tate McRae.

Of the 38 songs, 36 peaked during the eligibility period, appearing on Wallen’s 2025 album I’m The Problem, which ranks at No. 1 on Billboard Canada’s year-end Canadian Albums chart.

Earlier this year, Moi — who also serves as the president of A&R for Big Loud Records — and Brianne Deslippe, senior vice president of marketing, landed a spot on Billboard Canada’s Power Players 2025 for Labels and Label Groups. Both are Canadians living in the country hub of Nasvhille.

This is the second time Moi has finished as the No. 1 producer in the U.S. In 2023, he dominated the year-end ranking, thanks to his work on Wallen’s One Thing at a Time, which nabs No. 5 on the 2025 Billboard Canadian Albums chart. Last year, he finished in the top 10 (No. 7), after pop producer Jack Antonoff, who had a big year with Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter, dethroned Moi.

In previous years, Moi has maintained his position in the top 10, scoring No. 3 in 2022, No. 2 in 2021 and No. 6 in 2020.

Moi has been a mainstay in the Canadian music industry for decades, initially working with rock bands like Nickelback and My Darkest Days. His roster expanded into the country genre, as he co-founded independent record label Big Loud Records in 2015, now one of the genre's top labels.

Moi has helped shape Big Loud's distinctive sound, producing chart-topping hits and currently working with a roster of country artists, including country rock singer HARDY, singer-songwriter Hailey Benedict, B.C.-native Dallas Smith and recent signee, Owen Riegling from Ontario.

Charlie Puth Announces Whatever’s Clever! World Tour With Help from ‘Overcompensating’ Star Benito Skinner: See the Dates

The pop star is hitting the road just a few months after his Super Bowl performance, including one show in Vancouver. Get all the details.

Charlie Puth is headed to a city near you. On Monday (Jan. 12), the Grammy-nominated pop singer-songwriter revealed the full list of dates for his upcoming Whatever’s Clever World Tour, which will span nearly 50 dates across two continents. The trek will commence on April 22 at Viejas Arena in San Diego, Calif., visiting major cities like Nashville, Austin and New York, before concluding on July 30 at Progresja Summer Stage in Warsaw, Poland. His lone Canadian date is May 5 at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on May 5.

The “Light Switch” singer tapped Overcompensating stars Benito Skinner and Mary Beth Barone to share the news, building off the Amazon Prime original’s running gag that confuses Puth with fellow pop star (and show guest star) Charli xcx. “B—h, guess the f—k what, I’m working the Charlie concert,” Barone begins the mock FaceTime call, with Skinner replying, “Oh, xcx?… So you mean to tell me that Ms. Puth is going on tour and he asked you to work it, b—h?”
