Blond:ish Earns Her First Billboard No. 1 With ‘Lovers on the Dancefloor’
The Canadian DJ/producer's track, featuring Kurtis Wells, leads the Dance Airplay chart.

Blond:ish tops a Billboard chart for the first time as “Lovers on the Dancefloor,” featuring Kurtis Wells, rises one place to No. 1 on Dance Airplay (dated Sept. 26).
Released June 12 via Maison Arts, the song earned a 33% increase in plays at the format Sept. 11-17, according to Luminate.
“Lovers on the Dancefloor,” which debuted on the chart in July, is Blond:ish’s second Dance Airplay entry. The Canadian DJ/producer’s first, “Never Walk Alone,” with Stevie Appleton, came close to the top, peaking at No. 2 in April 2025. She previously reached Billboard’s charts with “Sorry,” with Eran Hersh, Darmon and Madonna (No. 39 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs in 2023).
Blond:ish has also produced mixes for Taylor Swift (an official “Fortnight” remix in 2024) and Madonna (“Sorry” in 2023), and collaborated with many other stars. Plus, last year, she became Pacha Ibiza’s first female headline resident DJ.
“Lovers on the Dancefloor” is also the first No. 1, and first overall chart entry, for Wells, who sings on the track. He has also contributed vocals for dance tracks by Anotr, Nils Hoffman and Miramar.
“Lovers on the Dancefloor” is additionally the first Billboard No. 1 for Los Angeles-based boutique label and publishing company Maison Arts. Its roster also includes Suki Waterhouse, Medasin, Bipolar Sunshine and Arc De Soleil.
The song is concurrently climbing the WARM Global Dance Radio chart, rising 22-16. The ranking aggregates plays from more than 200 dance-focused radio stations worldwide, reflecting songs trending globally across a network of programmers and radio gatekeepers in multiple territories.
