Ralph James and Jack Ross are now Senior Vice Presidents at the Paquin Artists Agency following an announcement yesterday that PAA has acquired the Canadian division of the Agency for the Performing Arts (APA) Canada where the two had been running the shop.

“With this acquisition, PAA expands its footprint by adding an incredible group of people led by Ralph and Jack while also broadening our roster of talented artists,” PAA Co-President, Julien Paquin said in a media release. “It’s a humbling moment to be reminded of the value of hard work and a shared vision of highlighting artistic excellence.”

Joining James and Ross in the move is agent Mike Graham, as well as agency staff Lorraine Webb, Jean Wilkinson, Jenna MacDonald and Tristan Tammaro, who will be valuable additions to PAA’s North American team.

Ross commented on the announcement, saying he was "thrilled to see the conclusion of this deal and have the team here at APA Canada join Paquin Artists Agency. We know that joining PAA will create new and unique opportunities for our roster of clients. I want to thank Jim Gosnell and his team at APA for all their support and look forward to a continued productive relationship.

James said that “Paquin has grown into an international industry leader, and I look forward to working alongside them, digging in for our clients.”

PAA Co-President, Vinny Cinquemani added: “This is a historic merger and allows vibrant collaborations for all the artists we have the privilege of representing.”

Also cited is US-based APA Agency CEO Jim Gosnell who commented:  “We have been close friends with Julien and Vinny for many years, they are truly two of the finest people in the business. We are excited for Ralph, Jack and our Canadian team to join them and their outstanding team at PAA. This is a win-win situation for everyone involved.”

The acquisition comes amidst a year of strong growth for Paquin Entertainment Group which saw newly formed partnerships with Loft Entertainment, Blue Crane Agency, Action Entertainment and the continued gains in its exhibition & theatrical and brand partnerships divisions.

The singer also said he's stripping things way down on a different LP he's working on with producer Andrew Watt, taking inspiration from Jeff Buckley, Chris Cornell and Scott Weiland.

Yungblud went all-in on his fourth studio album, last year’s Idols, which featured such big-swing rocking singles as “Lovesick Lullaby” and “Hello Heaven, Hello” and the churning ballad “Zombie” — recently revamped with a rocking assist from the Smashing Pumpkins.

But on an untitled upcoming album he’s working on with in-demand producer Andrew Watt (Ozzy Osbourne, Rolling Stones), the singer told Rolling Stone he is trading in the max for the min.
