CARAS has named Andrés Mendoza as Vice President of the Academy. Effective today, he will head the company’s teams across Brand Partnerships, Marketing, Communications and Content.


Also, CARAS has introduced two new departments including an Events Department and Academy Operations Department.

Katy Venneri (formerly Manager) is now Events Director where she will plan, facilitate, manage and execute all Juno Week, Juno 365 and MusiCounts events.

Alexandra Golden (formerly Tickets and Awards project manager) is named Manager, Academy Operations and will now oversee and facilitate the CARAS Academy Delegate program, the Juno submission process, ticketing, plus all member and industry relations.

CARAS announced the restructure to support the organization’s mandate and four pillars: Educate, Develop, Celebrate and Honour.

“Through our partnership with CBC, we were able to realign the organization's structure to best support our collaborative vision of the new Juno 365 mandate,” said Allan Reid, President & CEO, CARAS/The JUNO Awards and MusiCounts.

Juno Week 2019 will be hosted in London, March 11 through March 17. The Sunday 17th telecast is to be staged at Budweiser Gardens, broadcast live at CBC, CBC Radio and streamed globally on cbcmusic.ca/junos.
