The Grey Cup is coming back to Calgary.

This November, the Canadian Football League (CFL) championship game is touching down at McMahon Stadium for a sixth edition hosted in Calgary, where a star artist will take the stage while two teams battle it out for the coveted Grey Cup on Nov. 15.

Last year, the genre-defying mgk graced the stage with a mix of pop, punk and rock, performing a medley of his hits including material from his recent Lost Americana album.

As the postseason approaches this fall, fans have begun speculating that either big country names or hometown heroes could be headlining this year's halftime show. FanDuel Canada has markets on the halftime show performer, and it’s a great time for home fans to get in on the action. North America’s No. 1 sportsbook just launched in Alberta last month.

Brad Paisley currently leads the pack with odds of +250. The American country star has a long history with Canada, having earned several top 5 albums on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart throughout the late 2000s and 2010s. He's no stranger to the Grey Cup, having been tapped by the tournament as its Friday Night concert headliner during last year's Grey Cup Festival. Now, fans are thinking that relationship could evolve into a performance during the biggest night in Canadian football.

Alberta heroes Nickelback follow with the second-highest odds of +380. Nickelback have remained one of the biggest Canadian rock bands ever, with their LP All The Right Reasons named the biggest Canadian album of the 21st century on Billboard's charts. They're no strangers to blockbuster events, with their anthem "Bones for the Crows" recently becoming Wrestlemania's theme song, and a Grey Cup halftime performance would be a fitting way to celebrate their upcoming album Everything Under the Sun, out Oct. 30, just two weeks before the big game.

The Beaches and Shania Twain are options too, sharing the slot for the third most likely act with odds of +500 each. The Beaches are coming off another viral streak, and could bring their anthemic energy to the stadium with bright rock hits like "Blame Brett" and its signature hop dance, or their recently viral hit "Edge of the Earth," which was featured in the popular TV series Off Campus. Meanwhile, legendary singer-songwriter Twain is fresh off the release of her new album Little Miss Twain, her most personal record to date that calls back to her upbringing in Northern Ontario. It's a celebration of her Canadian identity, and playing the Grey Cup would be an extension of her pride for her home country.
