Move over, 2016: It’s starting to feel like 2011 again. Mgk (formerly Machine Gun Kelly) and Wiz Khalifa joined forces for “Girl Next Door” on Tuesday (May 12), which marks the superstars’ first collaboration since 2013.

The Cleveland native and Taylor Gang honcho pack on the nostalgia of the early 2010s Blog Era and released a playfully hilarious music video to accompany the dreamy single, which plays out a bit differently than the 2004 cult classic The Girl Next Door.

Wiz and mgk are roommates and find a pair of girls who are moving in next door. They develop a game plan to impress them, showing off their workout routines and how they can handle yard work responsibilities such as mowing the lawn and gardening. They even fill up a mini-pool to entice them to come over.

After mustering up the courage to knock on their neighbors’ door to talk to them, Kels and Wiz were hit with the ultimate surprise, finding out that they’re a lesbian couple. “Oh, the Subaru,” mgk tells Wiz, as it all finally clicked for him.

There’s a comedic close as the scene pivots to a nosy neighbor looking to see if the Wiz and Kels could seal the deal. “I knew those guys didn’t get b—hes,” he quips while looking through his binoculars. “Lesbians, huh, nice!”

The Pittsburgh rapper and mgk are working on releasing a joint album, which is titled with the initials “BEB.” They joked it’s called Big Enormous Burger, while others are speculating the name of the project is actually Blog Era Boys.

Wiz will be joining mgk as a special guest on the second leg of the Lost Americana Tour, which kicks off on Friday (May 15) in California, and will be making stops in Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, St. Louis, Toronto, Kansas City and Vancouver, B.C., before wrapping up with a final show in Ridgefield, Wash., on July 1.

Mgk’s coming off teaming up with Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst for “Fix Your Face” in April, which topped Billboard‘s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.
