With a push from Kai Cenat, Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR gave creators of varying expertise the chance to direct their own music videos for “Somebody Loves Me.”

After sifting through thousands of entries, Drizzy and PND brought the 19 best visions to life from different aspiring creatives, which were released on the Drake Related website on Wednesday (Aug. 27).

“Our finalists represent a diverse range of experience levels, as we were committed to giving new and emerging directors — including a few first-time directors — the opportunity to showcase their talent,” a message on the website reads.

Various storylines and interpretations of “Somebody Loves Me” are delivered throughout the 19 short films. Jordan Sook’s video finds Drake and Party as puppets while sipping lean and taking a yacht out with plenty of women, and even hopping on Air Drake.

Dito Andres went the animated route, with Drake and Party’s mothers serving as “celestial guardian angels looking down on their sons.”

Kristen Lambie’s visual tugged on the heartstrings with the past and present on a collision course. A 70-year-old Black man is reminiscing while paying a visit to locations where he experienced the euphoria of love during his relationship.

Edgar Daniel had an interesting approach, putting his spin on the visual by hosting a casting call that invited women to audition and interview for cameos in the “Somebody Loves Me” video.

The idea to give aspiring directors a chance came to life in May after Kai Cenat voiced his hope to see the “Nokia” video go a different direction. Cenat and Drake then revealed the winners in June, before the 19 visuals hit the Drake Directed website on Wednesday (Aug. 27).

“Somebody Loves Me” landed on Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s $ome $exy $ongs 4 U project in February. The standout track peaked at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Musicians’ Unions Back The Boss After Trump Dumps On Bruce Springsteen Again: ‘We Stand in Complete Solidarity With Bruce’

The president called the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend a "bad and very boring singer" while accusing Springsteen of having "Trump Derangement Syndrome" in a post on Tuesday (April 2).

The war of words between Bruce Springsteen and Donald Trump cranked up another notch on Thursday (April 2) when Dan Point, the president of the Local 802 American Federation of Musicians and Local 47 AFM president Marc Sazer lashed out at the president for his latest broadside against the Boss.

“We can not remain silent as one of our most celebrated members is singled out and personally attacked by the President of the United States,” the union presidents said in a joint statement following a post on Trump’s Truth Social in which the president again took aim at the rock icon for speaking out against his administration. “Bruce Springsteen is not just a brilliant musician, he is a voice for working people, a symbol of American resilience, and an inspiration to millions in this country and around the world.”
