These Canadian Indie Record Stores Are Hosting ‘Heated Rivalry’ Vinyl Listening Parties
From July 10-12, 29 stores across the country are inviting fans to celebrate the release of the hit TV show’s soundtrack vinyl with “freebies, activities, exclusive merch, signed prizes” and more.

This weekend, Heated Rivalry fans have the chance to head back to the cottage.
To celebrate the mega-popular TV show’s vinyl release, 29 Canadian indie record stores are hosting listening parties between July 10 and 12. In addition, “freebie items, activities, exclusive merch, signed prizes” will be up for grabs at the event.
The soundtrack features music from the hit Crave hockey romance series, including Peter Peter’s original score and a selection of previously-released tracks heard in the series: Wolf Parade’s “I’ll Believe In Anything,” Feist’s “My Moon My Man,” t.A.T.u’s “All The Things She Said,” Harrison’s cover of “All The Things She Said,” Wet Leg’s “mangetout” and Cailin Russo’s “Bad Things,” to name a few.
As a bonus, the vinyl includes a previously unreleased bonus track heard in the show, Peter Peter’s “One Soul (Cottage Mix).”
Both the CD and vinyl editions will contain a fold-out poster, imagery from the series — starring Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams — and liner notes from Montreal creator Jacob Tierney. The album is pressed on two deluxe vinyl editions, both on coloured vinyl themed to the show.

The physical soundtrack was announced back in March, exclusively on Billboard. Heated Rivalry’s music supervisor Scotty Taylor told the publication: “There are no rules in love or music. Love is the answer and truth is the music. Love boldly. Sing loudly and be fearless.”
Since its November 2025 release, Heated Rivalry has taken over culture. A lot of the artists — many of whom are Canadian — experienced a surge in streams following the show, while some have even landed on the charts. Earlier this year, Harrison’s t.A.T.u cover hit the Billboard Canadian Hot 100.
Meanwhile, the entire cast and crew have skyrocketed into mainstream fame — recently, it won a record-breaking 16 trophies at this year’s Canadian Screen Awards.
While Peter Peter’s original series soundtrack was released at the top of the year, now fans can listen to both the score and a curated selection of beloved needle drops all together.
