Simple Plan are about to go across the country.

In the summer, the Montreal pop-punk band played a sold-out headline show at Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre and played their hometown Warped Tour in Montreal. Now they’re returning to Canada to play 15 shows across the country in 2027.

The band announced that they’re expanding their global tour, Bigger Than You Think!, and will play their first cross-country dates in over a decade. This year, the group celebrated their 25th anniversary with shows across the U.S., U.K., Europe, Asia and Australia.

Known for hits like "I’m Just a Kid,” “Welcome to My Life” and the beloved What’s New Scooby-Doo? theme song – a track that has become a major fan event at their concerts – Simple Plan has scored four albums in the top 5 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart. 2004’s Still Not Getting Any…, their self-titled 2008 album and 2011’s Get Your Heart On! all peaked at No. 2, while 2016’s Taking One For The Team reached No. 4. Their latest album, 2022’s Harder Than It Looks, reached No. 84.

The Canadian trek starts in Victoria, B.C., on Jan. 26 at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. They’ll continue playing on the west coast, with shows in Vancouver (Jan. 27), Edmonton (Jan. 29), Calgary (Jan. 31), Saskatoon (Feb. 1) and Winnipeg (Feb. 2).

Then, Simple Plan will perform headline shows in Toronto (Feb. 5), upgrading to Scotiabank Arena, Kitchener (Feb. 6), London (Feb. 7), Kingston (Feb. 9) and Ottawa (Feb. 12) before their hometown show at Montreal’s Bell Centre on Feb. 12. It hasn’t been too long since the band played in their home city. In August, they performed at Warped Tour at Parc Jean-Drapeau, closing out the festival, its first Montreal edition in five years.

Simple Plan will wrap up their Canadian headlining tour on the east coast with dates slated for Moncton (Feb 14) and Sydney (Feb 15). Their final show will be in Halifax, on Feb. 16 at Scotiabank Centre.

For the majority of their shows, Simple Plan will be joined by U.S. bands Yellowcard and Bowling For Soup. For their B.C. dates, they’ll be joined by Canadian group Marianas Trench, who will perform performing in their hometown alongside Bowling For Soup.

“It’s been more than 10 years since the last time we did a proper cross-Canadian tour in our home and native land and we absolutely cannot wait for these shows,” the band shared in a statement.

“The fact that we have the privilege to play all the biggest arenas across the country more than 25 years into our career is something we'll never take for granted. We're incredibly grateful to all our amazing Canadian fans for their love and support over all these years."

Drake Reportedly Did Not Submit 'Iceman,' 'Maid of Honour' or 'Habibti' to the 2027 Grammy Awards

Billboard reports that Drake has not submitted Iceman, Maid of Honour or Habibti, nor any of their songs for consideration at the upcoming 2027 Grammy Awards. Drake has not submitted any of his solo albums since withdrawing his Certified Lover Boy nods in 2021.

As Drake continues his massive year, it looks like the Grammy Awards won't be part of the celebration.

Sources tell Billboard that Drake did not submit his trio of albums Iceman, Maid of Honour or Habibti, nor any of their songs, for consideration for the upcoming 2027 awards. It continues a longstanding boycott by the rapper, who last attended the Grammys in 2019, during which he won best rap song for "God's Plan" and was nominated for album of the year with Scorpion.
