Warped Tour 2026
Warped Tour is returning to Montreal.
In 2026, the touring punk rock music festival is making a global return, with two-day stops in Montréal and Mexico City, alongside dates in Washington, D.C., Long Beach, California and Orlando, Florida. It marks the tour’s first return to the Canadian city since 2014.
This year, the touring fest returned after a five-year hiatus for a series of U.S. dates in celebration of the festival’s 30th anniversary, with performances from All Time Low, The All-American Rejects, Avril Lavigne (who made her Warped Tour debut), Boys Like Girls, Gym Class Heroes, MGK, Simple Plan, Sublime and many more. The three sold-out weekends proved the festival’s ability to maintain its audience.
In 2026, the festival will return even bigger — and make its return to Canada. The expansion is a cross-border celebration that will honour over three decades of the festival’s legacy.
Montreal has served as a major city for the Warped Tour in its previous iterations. Montreal has been a major market for punk, emo and ska over the years. Simple Plan for instance, who soundtrack the announcement video, have played the festival over 10 times since 1996.
Next year, the tour will spend two days at Parc Jean-Drapeau, on August 21 and 22. It's a frequent venue for music festivals, including Osheaga, and Warped Tour will be presented by Evenko, the festival's organizer. Founder and organizer Kevin Lyman shares why Montreal was the right Canadian city to represent Warped Tour.
“Montreal was always a great stop for Warped, and I have some good friends at Evenko (Nick Farkas and Daniel Glick), who really understands what we're trying to do,” he says exclusively to Billboard Canada.
“The site at Parc Jean-Drapeau is perfect because [it hosts] other festivals throughout the summer, so we can tap into that existing infrastructure, which helps keep costs down. Ticket pricing has always been crucial for us, and any savings we can pass along to fans makes a difference. Plus, I've always loved Montreal's skyline. It creates this beautiful backdrop for the festival that you just don't get anywhere else.”
The 2026 edition is set to bring artists spanning rock, punk, alternative, pop punk, rap, emo, hardcore and ska together. Attendees can expect a mix of legendary icons, returning festival favourites and rising acts. The official lineup will be announced at the beginning of next year.
“Montreal has always made classic punk bands feel at home, and they'll definitely be represented on the lineup,” he explains. “We'll also have artists who were just starting to break through when Warped originally wound down and have since gained major recognition. With approximately 60 bands playing, it's going to be a great mix that honours Montreal's punk legacy while showcasing where the scene is today.”
Since its start in 1995, Warped Tour has provided a platform for established and up-and-coming artists, with past performers including Blink-182, No Doubt, Sublime, Beck, Katy Perry, Limp Bizkit, Black Eyed Peas, Green Day, Eminem, Yellowcard and more.
The 2026 tour kicks off in Washington, D.C., at the Festival Grounds at RFK Campus from June 13-14, before heading to Long Beach, California, from July 25-26 at the Downtown Long Beach Shoreline Waterfront. Towards the end of the summer, Warped hits international stops in Montreal, Quebec, from Aug. 21-22 at Parc Jean-Drapeau and Mexico City, Mexico, from Sept. 12-13 at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, before wrapping up the year in Orlando, Florida, at Camping World Stadium Campus from Nov. 14-15.
