Cyndi Lauper will be bringing the fun to Toronto and Vancouver this summer.

The '80s pop icon is heading out on the final leg of her 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' tour for 25 North American dates. She'll play Toronto's Budweiser Stage on July 27 and Vancouver's Rogers Arena on August 21.

Billed as her final major tour — and her first headlining tour in a decade — it saw her sell out Madison Square Garden last fall, bringing joy back to the venue and ridding it of "bad energy" after a Trump rally, as Billboard's Joe Lynch wrote. Lauper will head to Australia and Japan in April before bringing the tour back home in July and August.

The tour is raising money for the Tides Foundation's Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Human Rights Fund, with $150,000 raised so far. Lauper was also recently nominated for the 2025 class of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, giving her plenty to celebrate on the road.

Tickets go on sale March 14 at 10 A.M. Find more Canadian concert announcements below.

Aqua

Danish band Aqua are crossing the Atlantic this fall for some Canadian dates. The "Barbie Girl" band got a recent boost from their 2023 collab with Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj for the Barbie soundtrack, and they're ready to go party in a handful of Canadian cities this fall. Tickets are on sale now.

Three Days Grace and Volbeat

Another Danish act are touring Canada this year — rock band Volbeat will hit the road with homegrown heroes Three Days Grace in June. The bands will perform 10 Canadian dates together, from Vancouver to Ottawa, celebrating Three Days Grace's reunion with their lead singer, Adam Gontier, who returned to the band in 2024. Their first single with Gontier back, "Mayday," sits atop the Canadian Mainstream Rock airplay chart, indicating there's definitely appetite for a live setting.

Organizers also outlined two potential scenarios for the weekend.

Tomorrowland 2025 will open as scheduled on Friday (July 18) following a devastating July 16 fire that destroyed the festival’s mainstage.

In a statement made on Thursday (July 17), organizers wrote that “hundreds of people are working tirelessly at the Mainstage area to ensure we can open the gates tomorrow. It’s a race against time, but we’re doing this together with the best and most amazing people in the world.”
