Bob Moses and Billboard Canada are teaming up for a special show in Toronto.

The Vancouver-based electronic music duo will be headlining the latest Billboard Canada LIVE showcase on Sept. 29. The event will feature a one-of-a-kind intimate club set and a Q&A session, taking place at a secret location in Toronto.

The event arrives ahead of Moses' fourth studio album BLINK, which is set for an Oct. 17 release. The duo has already released three singles from the LP including "Waiting on the World" and "Time of Your Life," both of which have groovy, pulsing deep bass lines and arpeggiating synth melodies. The latter is a radio hit, currently charting on Billboard Canada's Modern Rock Airplay chart for the 20th week.

Toronto played a key role in the album's creation. It's one of the cities where members Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance met up to complete its creation, after initially sending each other demos while working remotely in New York City and Los Angeles. This fragmented process inspired the record's thematic focus.

“The album’s like a question: How do you reconcile the desire to have a meaningful life with the realization that it’s gone in an instant, that you can’t hold on to things for too long?" Howie said in a statement. "It wasn’t a conscious choice, but the way we made this record fits that idea, and maybe that’s why we’ve touched on it: It’s a phase in our lives where we’re doing everything in moments."

Bob Moses have made a name for themselves in the electronic realm with their unique blend of minimalist electronic music (with a deep house flair) with guitar licks and other rock elements. The duo has earned Grammy nominations and collaborated with adjacent Canadian acts including CRi and Kasablanca.
