Justin Bieber has checked off another streaming milestone.

The singer's track "Daisies," an alternative ballad taken from his 2025 surprise album SWAG, has become his latest song to reach one billion streams on Spotify and subsequently be inducted into Spotify's Billions Club. Joining older smash hits of his like "Love Yourself" and "Beauty and a Beat," "Daisies" is his 23rd track overall to achieve the feat, tying him with Rihanna as the artist with the fifth most songs above one billion streams in Spotify history.

Following the quick and unexpected rollout for SWAG, "Daisies" quickly cemented itself as a fan favourite from the album and shot up the charts. The track made an impressive debut in both Canada and the U.S., landing at No. 2 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and the Billboard Hot 100, just shy of the top spot. The track also re-entered the top 10 in Canada after being a highlight from Bieber's viral yet polarizing performances at Coachella 2026, during which he revisited his biggest hits via YouTube while on stage. The lo-fi, alternative pop ballad was co-written and co-produced by Mk.gee and Dijon, who helped craft the smooth sound behind SWAG and its sequel SWAG II along with other key collaborators like Daniel Caesar, Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins and Knox Fortune.

Last month (Sept. 22), Bieber played a new version of the song during an impromptu jam session at MacArthur Park in Los Angeles, around the same time it crossed the billion streams mark. The four-song stint also included "Yukon," another hit from SWAG.

The success of "Daisies" prefaced an illustrious year for Bieber, who has taken some of the world's biggest stages since releasing his pair of 2025 albums. After shutting down both weekends of Coachella, he joined the first-ever FIFA World Cup halftime show performance, delivering a stripped-back performance of "Everything Hallelujah."

Bieber's latest streaming achievement breaks his tie with Ariana Grande, who currently has 22 entries in the Billions Club. He is third among Canadian artists, as Drake currently ranks third overall with 30 songs above the billion mark and The Weeknd ranks second with 31. Back in January, Bieber and The Weeknd both re-entered the club simultaneously when their respective tracks "Confident" and "Party Monster" crossed a billion streams at the same time.

Since hitting No. 1 on the platform's monthly listeners chart in May with over 140 million monthly listeners, Bieber remains one of Spotify's top artists, currently ranking fourth worldwide and boasting over 113 million monthly listeners.
