Shaboozey and Myles Smith Debut 'Blink Twice' at No. 62 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100
The collab from two major breakouts on the Canadian charts comes ahead of Shaboozey's Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going deluxe edition, out April 25. Ghanaian-American singer Moliy and dancehall producer Silent Addy also enter with their viral track "Shake It To The Max (Fly)" at No. 75.

Two of the biggest recent breakouts on the Canadian charts are making their mark with a new collab.
Shaboozey and Myles Smith enter the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 this week on the chart dated April 26 with new single "Blink Twice" at No. 62.
The anthemic folk-country track brings together a 2024 chart history-maker and a current radio king. Last year, Virginia singer Shaboozey set a new record for longest running No. 1 on the Canadian Hot 100 with "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" totalling 25 weeks at the top of the chart.
Smith, meanwhile, is a rising English singer whose "Stargazing" has been dominating the Canadian airplay charts this year, leading the All-Format, Adult Contemporary and Hot AC charts.

On "Blink Twice," the two bring their powerful vocals to a song about making the most of the moment. The fast-paced song pushes onward with syncopated hand claps and a very 2010s "woah-oh-oh" hook, even as it houses a world-weary sensibility: Smith sings about how he's been trying to catch his breath since he was 17.
The song comes ahead of Shaboozey's Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going: The Complete Edition, out April 25. It hasn't charted in the U.S. yet, but there's plenty of time — "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" hit No. 1 in Canada two months before it ascended in the U.S. And if there's one message this track tries to drive home, it's that there's no need to rush.
Also making a chart debut this week is "Shake It To The Max (Fly)" by Ghanaian American singer Moliy and producer Silent Addy. The viral track enters at No. 75, in the form of a remix featuring Skillibeng and Shenseea. It's a sultry blend of afrobeats and dancehall, with a beat that manages to feel both laid-back and hard-hitting.

That beat has helped the track go viral on TikTok, where users are making their own remixes and rapping over top of it (Gladdest's "if you're done with your ex, move on to the next" version has also gone viral on the app), as well as participating in the trending dance that accompanies this remix.
At the top of the chart, Alex Warren scores a second week leading the Canadian Hot 100 with "Ordinary," while Chappell Roan's "Pink Pony Club" holds at No. 2.
Over on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, Drake and PartyNextDoor notch a third week at No. 1 with $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, Sabrina Carpenter climbs to No. 2 with 2024's Short n Sweet and Tate McRae rises 4-3 with So Close To What as Playboi Carti's Music falls to No. 5.
Canadians are also seeing some gains on the Canadian Hot 100 this week. Josh Ross' "Leave Me Too" rises 67-63 and bbno
Cameron Whitcomb's "Quitter" holds at No. 35, and his "Medusa" moves up 87-84.
