LA-based Toronto production and DJ team Andrew Fedyk and Joe Depace, better known as Loud Luxury, enjoyed a smash hit with their breakthrough single “Body” featuring Brando (centre), underscored last night with an MMVA win in the "Song of the Summer" category.


Released on (Sony-distributed) Armin van Buuren's record label Armada Music, the EP track quickly became a Top 10 dance hit in over a half-dozen countries, including Canada where it peaked at No. 4 on the Hot 100 in July.

Originally certified Gold in March, Music Canada officially certified “Body” 4x Platinum ahead of a hometown performance at Toronto’s VELD Festival, where the threesome was presented with the award plaque from Sony Music Canada.

The success of the track was underscored last night in Toronto with an MMVA win in the "Song of the Summer" category.

Drake Accuses UMG & Spotify of Scheme to ‘Artificially Inflate’ Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’

In a legal petition, the star's company accuses UMG and Spotify of serious wrongdoing -- a stunning twist months after his high-profile feud with Kendrick.

Drake has initiated legal action against Universal Music Group (UMG) and Spotify over allegations that the two companies conspired to artificially inflate the popularity of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

In a filing Monday (Nov. 25) in Manhattan court, Drake’s Frozen Moments LLC accused UMG of launching an illegal “scheme” involving bots, payola and other methods to pump up Lamar’s song — a track that savagely attacked Drake amid an ongoing feud between the two stars.
