The data provider and Canada's biggest music awards show announce they are teaming up again for another two years. The 48th annual Juno Awards and Juno Week 2019 will be hosted in London, ON,  from March 11-17.

Nielsen Music and The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) have announced that Nielsen Music will serve as the exclusive data provider for Canada’s biggest night in music – the Juno Awards – for two more years. The data provided by Nielsen Music will help CARAS throughout the selection process, from nominations to the Juno Awards selections.


“It’s truly an honour to again work with CARAS as the official data provider for Canada’s biggest night in music,” said Paul Shaver, VP Entertainment Canada, Music & Sports. “Renewing our partnership with CARAS is both exciting and a testament to the power of Nielsen’s Music Connect, the leading tool for music industry insights. We look forward to celebrating Canadian music with CARAS at the Juno Awards for two more years.”

The 48th annual Juno Awards and Juno Week 2019 will be hosted in London from March 11 through March 17, culminating in The Juno Awards, on Sunday, March 17, at Budweiser Gardens, broadcast live on CBC, CBC Radio and globally on cbcmusic.ca/junos.

Drake Responds to Old Rumor That T.I. Associate Urinated On Him: ‘That Story Was For the Net’

Drake responded to an old rumor in a comment on his Instagram.

Drake has responded to an old rumor that a T.I. associated once urinated on the Canadian rapper.

The incident in question became a talking point back in 2015 after Meek Mill claimed in his diss track “Wanna Know” that Drizzy, “let Tip’s homie piss on [him] in a movie theater.” The rumor then gained even more traction after T.I. rapped on the 2020 L.I.B.R.A. track “We Did It Big” that an associate of his got “so drunk in LA” they started “pissin’ on Drake.”
