JMilly, Joel Craig, is a 19-year-old artist from North York, Ontario who grew up in Thornhill in his earlier days. He is a member of a musical family; his aunt was a member of a well-known Toronto orchestra and his dad is a multi-instrumentalist. In his young elementary days, he grew up only listening to hip-hop/R&B and rap. As a result, music became his passion and wanted to pursue it ever since.
JMilly made his first ever full-track when he was only in Grade 10. JMilly is a triple threat talent when it comes to music — he can rap, sing, and mix/master his own music. JMilly combines witty razor-sharp lyrics with punch beats and hard 808s. He has released several tracks in the past year like “Mula” ft. LB, “They Talkin” ft. Princedawn and “Disaster” with Jayy6ixx.
Following with his EP release last December, Jmilly, a 19-year-old artist emerging from North York came out with a new music video for one his singles from his EP called "Insomnia". The music video itself has a simple concept behind it where the audience can concentrate more on what he is rapping about in this track. JMilly has been developing some sleeping problems where he can barely sleep throughout the night. He utilizes his insomnia and takes advantage of it by making music while he can't sleep. This video is directed by Roy Boy Productions and taken place in Newmarket, Ontario. Hit Star Productions produce this track.

I hope this finds you well and Happy New Year! I wanted to reach out on behalf of Toronto band Gold Complex in advance of our upcoming release “Driver”, the 2nd single from our forthcoming debut album New Soul.
“Driver,” due out Friday, January 11th features a 3-piece horn section and rich vocal harmonies in a cross-genre exploration of funk, pop and rock. It’s a song about passion, romantic attraction and emotional co-dependency, reminiscent of The Red Hot Chili Peppers but with a modern edge and a classic twist.

The track will be released on all streaming platforms, followed by the third single “Homegirl” on February 1st. Our full-length debut album New Soul will be released shortly after that, on Friday, February 22.
