In advance of the public ticket on-sale this Friday, iHeartRadio Canada announced today the first slate of performers for the 2018 iHeartRadio Canada Jingle Ball, taking place Sunday, Dec. 2 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

The 3rd annual big-budget spectacle includes performances from Khalid, Dua Lipa, The Chainsmokers, Alessia Cara, bülow, Loud Luxury, Lauv, Max, Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, Delaney Jane, and Tyler Shaw.

Additional performers and celebrity appearances are to be announced.

New this year, the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball has announced the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish as its official charitable partner.

The North Carolina rapper came to Toronto for the first of two dates on his The Fall-Off Tour, where he went bar for bar with diehard fans, remembered his uneventful local basketball career and welcomed a surprise opening performance from Toronto's Casper TNG and 100BandPlan

J. Cole came to Toronto for the first of two dates at Scotiabank Arena on July 27. It's part of his sprawling The Fall-Off Tour, which has been rumoured to be his last major global tour – at least in this current iteration.

There was some anticipation about what Cole might do at this Toronto stop. He was a close witness to rap's highest profile recent rivalry after his song "First Person Shooter" with Drake accidentally prompted Kendrick Lamar to ignite the beef with his "fuck the big three" line. He briefly participated and then publicly bowed out, mostly disengaging from the whole affair save for a few defenses of the Toronto rapper.
