Céline Dion hasn't performed since before she publicly announced her diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome in December 2022, but the superstar reportedly planning a comeback performance at the Paris Olympics. Variety reports today (July 23) that Dion is rumoured to be singing during the Opening Ceremony this Friday, July 26.

If so, the performance would mark a major comeback for the singer. The recent documentary, I Am: Céline Dion, chronicles Dion's battle with the painful neurological condition over the last two years.

Dion made a surprise appearance at the Grammys in February, but has yet to sing publicly since the diagnosis. In April, she told Vogue France that she's been working hard with her medical team. "I want to be the best I can be. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!”
