Set for Camrose, Alberta, next summer, the long-lived fest features a strong lineup of Canadian talent alongside American genre stars.
Held every summer in Camrose, Alberta, Big Valley Jamboree (BVJ) has long been established as one of Canada’s biggest and most important country music festivals. Today (Nov. 27), it unveiled a blockbuster lineup for its 2025 edition, set to run July 31 to Aug. 3.
Named as headliners are U.S. country superstars Blake Shelton and Jason Aldean plus fast-rising star Bailey Zimmerman. Shelton is no stranger to the Jamboree stage, having played the fest three previous times. A ten-time CMA Award winner, he has amassed 29 #1 singles since his debut in 2001, and sold 52 million singles and 13 million albums worldwide, with nearly 11 billion global streams.
Multi-platinum entertainer Aldean last played the Jamboree in 2017. The reigning ACM Artist of the Decade has scored over 28 number-one singles,18 billion streams and over 20 million albums sold. His latest album, Highway Desperado, earned him a Billboard 100 Chart-topping hit and a Billboard Award nomination.
Bailey Zimmerman is a 2024 CMA New Artist of the Year Nominee who debuted at BVJ in 2023. He was recently named as one of the 2025 headliners at another huge Canadian country fest, Boots and Hearts.
The three headliners are joined by fellow American artists including veteran Clint Black, Tyler Hubbard, Ashley McBryde, Nate Smith and Drew Baldridge.
A strong Canadian contingent for 2025 comprises The Hunter Brothers (who help kick things off on July 31), Tyler Joe Miller, Tim Hicks, James Barker Band, Owen Riegling (the fastest-rising Cancountry star right now), Tommy Charles, Lindsay Ell, Nice Horse, Savannah Jade and Teigen Gayse.
In a statement, Troy Vollhoffer, CEO of BVJ producers Country Thunder, declared that “As we head into the 32nd year of the festival, we're proud to be bringing globally-recognized talent to our loyal fans in Camrose. BVJ is one of Canada's most historic music festivals and we are honoured to bring it to life each year.
